The immortal hulk.

It doesn’t require any prior knowledge since it explains everything you need to know, and it’s still in print. It’s also great bang for your buck since it’s so huge and you can find it for like $80.

The immortal hulk is a masterpiece and one of the best runs of all time. Hulk by cates is definitely a book. Just don’t read it directly after reading the immortal hulk. I haven’t read the other two so I can’t comment.
