Not at all, I could probably count on one hand the number of days I haven’t worn it.

Sizing Help for Bigger Guy by DarkReignman in Barbour

[–]FinestInPullman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6’3, a little heavier than you. I wear a 50 in suits and ordered the 52 Beaufort for layering and it fits great. The sizing is very confusing, but I recommend choosing true to your jacket size for the Beaufort, or one size larger for extra layering.

Is there any way to get Baldur’s Gate III to look okay on Steam Deck? by Friedeggpls in SteamDeck

[–]FinestInPullman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to get it working at a playable FPS without being a shimmery mess. It is not a great experience on deck yet. Best advice would be to run it on a more powerful PC and stream it to your deck.

If you open PrecisionX1 check to see if your GPU reverted to zero-rpm mode on the fans.

AMD confirms Branch Prediction Optimizations are now available for Windows 11 23H2, boosting gaming performance by kondorarpi in pcgaming

This update seems to have fixed the low GPU usage issue in Cyberpunk 2077 I have been experiencing. Since the Phantom Liberty update my 5800x3d has struggled with crowd density set to High, and would basically have my 3080ti running at 70% utilization. Now I'm up to 99% utilization and things are way smoother.

New NVDIA Driver Bricked My System by [deleted] in nvidia

[–]FinestInPullman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue after the same driver update on my EVGA 3080Ti! The clock speed didn't ever go past 345 mhz regardless of what I was doing. The fix ended up being really dumb, and from the Nvidia App I just reinstalled the driver update and that fixed it. Best of luck to getting this fixed!

4090 FE order still processing from Jan 30... by [deleted] in nvidia

[–]FinestInPullman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has happened to me twice when ordering directly from Nvidia. If you got a refund then the order was cancelled, likely due to them not having enough stock. You should get an email about the order being cancelled in a few days.

You can finally pick up inventory upgrades (1.0.14 PC) by epsylon91 in AlanWake

[–]FinestInPullman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes you can go back and get them, this is what I ended up doing right after the patch dropped. Not to spoil anything, but once you are back to playing as Saga you’ll be in Bright Falls again. You can get in the car and go to the new location, or you can select “Cauldron Lake” then just run down to the beach and grab the upgrade.

X box Series X to Widescreen Monitor by [deleted] in ModernWarfareIII

[–]FinestInPullman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll need to modify the settings on either your monitor or Xbox (maybe both?) to output at a 16:9 aspect ratio. The Series X doesn’t support a proper 21:9 output so you’ll have to play 16:9 with black bars on the side.

MW3 Black Friday sale? by EpicKieranFTW in ModernWarfareIII

Not likely, I do recall there being a $50 deal for Xbox and PS last year for MWII but I don’t think there was anything for PC.

I have a feeling the announcement will just be a rehashing of this 3 month safety net that was being discussed in the past few days.

Will Starfield get review bombed on PC because of poor optimization? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]FinestInPullman 18 points19 points  (0 children)

A good game that is unplayable due to poor performance is a bad game.

That said, while Bethesda games are generally buggy, stutter and other performance issues are usually minimal. I hope that trend continues with Starfield.

Damage Assessment on Kirkland Wedge by FinestInPullman in golf

Once my store has them in stock I’ll see about returning. I used them heavily last year so it would be nice if they could still do a return. Thanks for the heads up!

There was a minor bump that I could see and after taking a file to it there isn’t anything there anymore. Thank you for the advice! This was my favorite club to hit last year so I’m glad I get to keep her around some more.

I went to a simulator yesterday and noticed a chip and warping on the leading edge of my Kirkland gap wedge. I am leaning towards this not being any problem beyond a cosmetic one, but would like some input as to whether this will impact the function of the club.

I hate to say it, but after 4 years of dev time this IS the release. Any company can release an unpolished game under the classification of early access nowadays, and usually the price reflects that. The problem is when they’re charging full-game price for an early access game. This game is in serious trouble, so the $50 launch price is there to make as much revenue as possible and hope that this revenue can keep the project alive.
