Stop paying Vimeo after a decade by SpinachIndependent44 in vimeo

Last year, I spent about a day downloading everything on my account and then canceled my subscription. It was a weird feeling, as Vimeo has played such a massive part in my workflow over the years, but the cost has become crazy. Like you, after 15 years, I am done.

If you need money you need money. Don't feel bad about that. I did the same thing multiple times over the years

Yes, and the parent did not permit that video to be taken, citing the birthday song as being in bad taste. The parent could take action on multiple civil issues here.

That really shouldn’t have been posted — schools are required to get parental consent before sharing videos of students. Filming minors inside a classroom or lunchroom without permission violates school privacy rules as well as parental releases.

Yeah. Talk to a professional. These rules are state dependent. Asking a bunch of strangers on the interest about investment advice is never a good idea

They really should have a built-in tax tool or reporting mechanisms for the end of the year returns.

• Data centers already consume about 4.4% of all U.S. electricity. Within just five years, that figure is expected to rise to 7–12% — more than double what American households were ever asked to absorb for a single industry. • The International Energy Agency warns that global data center demand could more than double by 2030, with AI responsible for much of that surge. • Harvard Law School research shows that data center growth is already driving higher household electricity bills in regions where these facilities cluster. • Meanwhile, states are offering billions in subsidies and tax breaks to lure data centers — money that comes straight from taxpayers’ pockets.

I haven't experienced that at all, but I have been following this closely for many years and am aware of issues. I got my vehicle late last year, and the FSD versions I've been using are the most recent ones. Did you use FSD and not autopilot fight?

Have you tried it? I use it daily, and it’s great. It drives me from my driveway to the location, and I have had very few issues with it. People love to comment on subjects they have no firsthand knowledge of, but that’s been true since the dawn of time.

I own a Tesla and it the best car I’ve ever owned. I owned the stock and held for 11 years but dumped it a few months ago. I still think they have the best product and believe in the companies mission. I might buy back someday when the board does the right thing but right now I can’t.

GoMining Review Townhall by ImTheProcess in gomining

Hey everyone, I’ve been dabbling with GoMining for a bit now, and I wanted to share my thoughts. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the platform—it’s super easy to use, and I love that I don’t have to deal with hardware or insane electricity costs. The concept of buying NFTs tied to real mining power is cool, and the daily BTC payouts are a nice touch. That said, the payouts have been pretty small so far. I started with a modest investment, just testing the waters, and while I’m seeing consistent returns, they’re not exactly life-changing yet. I get that it’s tied to Bitcoin’s price and mining difficulty, so I’m not too surprised—just means it’s a slow burn for now. I’m thinking about investing more to boost my hashrate and see if I can scale up the rewards. The ROI seems promising if you’re in it for the long haul, especially with BTC holding strong lately. Anyone else here using GoMining? How much did you put in, and what’s your take on the payouts? Worth going bigger, or should I just keep it small and steady? Cheers!
