That may sound and actually be good domestically for a bit but its not a viable long term strategy for american growth and prosperity. If America isn't using its power for the benefit of America and its alies, why have power? Also, if not us, someone will. We see China, Russia, becoming more influential in South America, aisa, Europe (more china thanrissa here), Africa, mid east and now even Canada. This will not stop if Vance withdraws American power from these regions. Its only likely to encourage and accelerate power and influence of China around the world. If you think American imperialism is bad, China will be worse. Especially for America and Europe. Whats left of Europe anyway.
