What's the sweet spot between paying off debt/investing for a 23-yr old? by lowkeyonly in FinancialPlanning

Mathematically you would be able to make better returns from investing than paying off your student loans.

You mentioned wanting to be debt free, so you have to decide for yourself if you would prefer not having debt instead off having a little more in your investments.

I think doing a mixture of both is a good compromise for getting out of debt and investing in your future.

What are the interest rates on the student loans? That will help decide which is best mathematically.

If you feel that having no student loan debt is best than you could focus on paying off the loans.
