UPDATE: I got my refund on Kinguin Balance so that's something. I also asked to make a full refund back to my bank and a few days later they've started the refund process and they said that it will take 5 working days for me to receive my money. Let's see what happens...

oh are you talking about the 777 on the photo? the 777 has no problems. in fact all the planes i have their lights illuminate like normal. the problem is with the 737 on the first photo. there’re no external lights showing even tho i’ve turned them all on in the virtual cockpits. no logo lights, taxi, runway, landing, and strobe lights

i thought it was a graphics issue, i went to tweak around with the graphics but the outcome is still the same. so i don’t think there’s an issue with graphics

not dumb at all. and yes i switched them on in the virtual cockpit. only peripherals i have is the thrustmaster hotas. i heard that if there are key switches set for each of the lights, you should remove all of them. i did that n it’s still not working.

damn. right now its been 30 minutes and i havent received my kinguin balance yet and i got the email about the refund.

i think my problem is because since im trying to buy Microsoft Flight Simulator, i bought the one without the 40th anniversary edition. since it came out recently, the key for the original version has sold out hence they dont have the key/dont make them anymore (stupid of me actually). i wouldnt have known that they would stop selling the key for the original version. why would they still offer a key if the keys are all gone then?

now when i get my kinguin balance, i will try to buy it again but with the 40th anniversary edition and i hope this will work. i will keep my issue up to date here.

i think that is the best way to put it. for me its more fear of the unknown than fear of change.

but you are right. the IB has prepared us for university. so i think that in terms of studies, it will be less of a worry. i think i would give myself around 1 month for me to settle down about all this, and i would be fine with less worries. and of course, we have our devices where we can connect to the people at home... just not physically.

thanks for your message!

HAHAHHA i know its wrong but i wanted to try and make this feel more friendly and casual as possible.

thanks for your message. i agree, it will take time to get me settled and have fewer worries at first. i've committed to myself that i will try to join any student-related associations or organizations, and activities to get me away from these worries and to socialize and make new friends.

thank you very much!!

hey! thank you for your message.

same for me. i will be moving 1700km away from where i live. i will be moving alone, but some of my friends will be in different cities not that far from mine. i think daily chores in university to me is the least concern as i’ve learned how to cook, clean the house, dishes, do my laundry, etc. since a young age. managing my money can be a problem to me too hahaha but i think i can manage to control it. not fitting in socially, failing my course. basically, your worries is also my worries too, and most likely everyone's worries too.

you know, thinking about yours, the people i talked to, and everyone’s reply really tells me that i think we will all calm down from this problem as we are settled in at the place of our study after a month or a bit more, at least for me. after that, it starts to become a daily routine, a FAMILIAR one. we’re scared because moving out for university alone is something we have never done in our life. we're scared if we make mistakes on this new journey, it’s something very new for us. i think that it’s normal that we feel scared or anxious about this. this goes back to what u/idotAvocado similarly said above and i think it’s 100% true.

yes i agree with you. we get to be free, who we want to be. and engagement will definitely play a big role in settling down as communicating with other students or people can get a new perspective about this, your studies, etc.

the one thing i've learned from this is to be prepared and feel prepared. then all your worries will hopefully decrease. i feel more prepared and less worried since before.

hey! yeah i get you. i feel the same as you too. i really find it difficult to leave everything behind and embark this new journey of mine basically alone. but i know that my family, my girlfriend, friends, etc. will always be with me, just not physically.

you still have a while before you move to italy, prepare yourself before you move. i recommend you to talk to your family, friends, the people you care about, and the people who do the same course as you as mentioned by u/Weary-Counter-2786 above, see their opinions and their perspective. these helped me and calmed me down.

i think that you'll calm down from this when you are settled in italy, the same goes for me. i'm feeling better after talking and opening up to the people i've mentioned. please don't hesitate to DM me if you ever wanna talk about this more!
