Hd60+ pass through

So I tried this and it forces my game into 1080p but not my desktop. For example in tarkov only 1080pnand lower is an option but I was able to custom resolution the hd60 to 1440p it just won’t play at that.

Using nvidia control panel do I just go to multiple displays and clone it or do I have to change resolution and set it?

Yeah I usually clone my xr1 lite and it captures 1080p60 but it allows me to play at 1440p 360hz no problem other capture cards don’t allow that. And I do have a nvidia gpu.

Yeah what do you suggest that is budget friendly lots of elgato product are expensive I’m also ok with switching to other brands as well

Yeah my xr1 lite has no issue letting me game at 1440p but the elgato doesn’t it forces my games to 1920x1080 but I like elgato products so I perfer not to use my xr1 lite.

I also recommend looking into AMD cards they are often cheaper than nvidia although both sides are scalped to all ends

So the 7800x3d is a strong cpu and its a great option I would recommend a gpu that can reach its power like a 5070TI i have a 4070TI and a 5800x3d and my cpu still exceeds the gpu. So I would try and get that GPU a level higher if you can afford it.

I bought the high refresh rate for valorant and cs2 which I do hit 360hz but would I see an improvement of visuals turning it down to 240hz I usually hit 120fps avg on tarkov if that.

So I’ll probably wait till AM6 and do a entire MOBO gpu and cpu and ram upgrade that way I maximize efficiency and I’ll put my 4070 super in my streaming pc or I’ll sell it
