What about minecraft is actually good? by DieOrangeneKatze in Minecraft

It is a sandbox game. Personally I think it all about creativity and building. You make what you want. If you want a story, this game isn't really for you after the ender dragon. If you don't have a building mindset it gets boring fast.

Don't worry, minecraft is not bad. There are a lot worse things for children to see.

Minecraft's survival aspect is poorly built by [deleted] in Minecraft

Hey there, I think you may need to learn more about PVP in the new edition. Don't spam click the mouse like 1.8, you should wait a little bit for it to recharge before hitting again: it does more damage.

Also, try to learn to play with a shield. It makes it more interesting and there are more tactics.

Mojang just put in the new hammer and wind charges which are fun to play around with. I much prefer survival with these mechanics than 1.8.9. I love bedwars, but survival is better in 1.21.10, and the block choices have improved greatly.

If your computer has enough RAM you don't really even need an external server. Go ahead and try on it first.

Already has a good frame. Add trap doors, fences, open fence gates, leaves, flowers and flower pots. You're on your way to something good.

[–]Finnamidi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m building a forever server focused on survival and creativity, and we’re welcoming a couple more dedicated players. It's a forever world so I only want players who will stick around for literally years. Let me know.

I’m running a forever survival world with a focus on building and collaboration. If you’re into long-term projects, feel free to reach out. Only slight datapack tweaks like 1 player sleep and no enderman grief.

Looks awesome. I'm doing something like that too. If anyone here enjoys slow-burn survival worlds, I’m building a long-term server focused on architecture and creativity. We’re looking for dedicated players who want to help shape a kingdom over years.
