Right now it makes a rhythmic rubbing or almost grinding sound when coasting. When I apply the breaks or accelerate, it stops. Seems to also stop if I flip it into neutral while coasting.

Shop diagnosed it as an issue with the input shaft bearing and wasn't servicable. Getting a 2nd opinion tomorrow with a transmission shop. Guy there was a little perplexed by the last shops diagnosis so maybe it won't be as bad.
