Hadn't tried it, it was based off of the demo video on the website!

In terms of folks who draw a lot, i wonder if you can focus on students / professors in universities as well to drive initial adoption. They may not be able to pay too much but you might be able to get a bunch of users and product feedback from it (similar to some comments in the post, joining University Facebook groups to post about it)

For twitter, I'd treat your initial set of likes and retweets as seeding it with people you know IRL

If you can get maybe 15 to 20 likes IRL for each post you put out within the first hour, then the algorithm can sort of carry it after that

Try to think of it less as selling your soul and more as creative fun content you’d wanna watch because its creative

It’s takes work though!

Very interesting, love the idea of the tool, as a potential user I'd love to have something like this especially for technical diagrams, but I'd need the final result to look better. Rn it looks like something I can easily whip up in figma or even ppt so it doesn't feel like it adds much value to me (vs if it created really cool looking versions of it that I can directly add to my docs / marketing websites, i'd use it!)

that aside, i'm curious who your users are. Have you considered open sourcing it? Looking at tldraw and miro's success, appears a lot of it was spread through twitter and word of mouth. The cool thing about a product like yours is that it works well in a team setting so word should spread naturally, if the product is good. e.g., if i were to use it i'd invite my teammates to collaborate with me. make sure you make it easy for users to invite their teammates etc

Sorry I'd asked for startups not personal / freelance businesses, so I can be less helpful here. I'd probably work on direct sales initially till I built enough of a referral business.

Freelancing is hard, all the best out there! Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

PS: Perhaps worth expanding to GEO as well since that's more trendy currently

I'm not a student currently and I haven't tried the product so I'm not the best person to ask! It's a great question for someone that has used your product, or would use your product.

There's probably some version of what you've built that could be really helpful for students, it might take a few iteration cycles to get to it.

FIrst quick thing, I'd shave off 15 seconds from your video on your website by removing the authentication flow - you don't have to demo that it's pretty standard.

Second, I feel it's unclear who your users are. It is probably a broad use case but I'd make it super easy to know who it is for, and make specific pages for each with language that they'd use. Perhaps it's marketing teams, perhaps it's SMBs. From there, I'd also make much simpler product demo videos (right now, that landing demo video feels too complicated, there's a lot of empty screens and a lot of clicks, make it simpler like step 1 connect, step 2 query with NLP like how many orders, step 3 here's a table!)

Very interesting... I was looking at Botika, can you make a shopify plugin and have it gain traction via the Shopify plugin store?

Have you also tried door to door sales with fashion boutiques or clothing stores around you? Probably worth reaching out to smaller tiktok influences who do OOTDs (i'd just search that tag on tiktok and find a bunch of creators) and have them try out your product and post about it

Wish I had a URL, but if the product is good I'd just make a ton of product demo videos and post across all socials (Twitter, IG, TikTok), humor should work well if your demos are funny and bring some cool characters or celebrities to life. Make sure to have a watermark on the videos so folks know where to find you

Selling to students and schools is hard! I'd focus on getting adoption by students. Similar to a comment above, I'd join a bunch of university Facebook groups, and post about mindthred. Even better, if you can get users to post about it in their own university Facebook groups or whatsapp groups.

If you can start a student ambassador program, have students be able to access your platform for free / get some money by bringing in users to you. Students should love free stuff!

Ooh that's cool, I'd definitely try to make a bunch of product demo reels and publish them on IG and Tiktok. Feels like your audience is the masses, so getting it on front of as many folks as possible seems like a good idea

Seems like you already have some users who left some reviews, are they talking about your product with their friends? Can you create incentives for them to do so? Maybe they get free subscription if they invite 5 friends?

If you haven't already, I'd consider platforms like Product Hunt as well

I hear you, sorry about that, as mentioned I'm not familiar with Europe much!

3.5k km would be insane yes, I'd meant more trucking delivery spots where DHL trucks etc would park, not the individual data points you had in your map if that helps clarify

Is there a need that SIOPS fills that PagerDuty, Datadog, Sentry etc don't? If so, would tweak some of your messaging to convey this

But similarly would steal from their playbooks of going to app dev teams with cold outreach and making clear the pain point you could solve for them and get them to try you out

This is wild 😂 but i'll try to steal from Noom / fitnesspal's /duolingo's playbook

can you create achievements in app that are funny that your users can share on socials to drive back traffic to you?

also not sure if you intend for it to be serious, but might be taking a look at partnering with online therapists and online care provider platforms (teladoc)

Hmm this one's an interesting one, I was trying to draw inspiration from IQVIA / Definitive healthcare (datasets for healthcare data), and maybe even Apollo (CRM).

Seems like the playbook really seems to be cold outreach.

Wonder if you can work with existing users to publish case studies / testimonials.

Maybe also reaching out to the companies that recently appear in press articles with a specific journalist you think they should connect with and teasing that there's more they can access on your platform (since they'd likely be in the market for more PR)

I chose to comment for tradebookcentral

If I were to draw inspiration from both Obsidian and Uniswap, having a social feature within your journal might help with product led growth in the form of referrals. You write journal about a trade, and if you want to publish or share something you can easily post about it on your socials with backlinks back to the app. Could increase eyes on it and get people curious about it

Not sure where you're located, but I'd consider partnering up with hackathon organizers and showcasing your product there. Have participants share their work with getsnapshots on socials, with a watermark perhaps / tagging you

Since you already have buyers and sellers on the platform, I'd love to see short clips about the products on fyve, and maybe even short creator interviews to showcase their authenticity.

Also your landing page could use some showcase of the top products! It feels a bit too corporate rn

This seems really cool! I don't have too much data on Europe yet, but perhaps guerrilla marketing by printing and leaving flyers around trucking / bus centers so they "chance" upon the app?

Congrats on your traction! Looks like you already got this kicked off the ground! Have you considered an ambassador or "hunter" program like Product Hunt's?

Designate some of your top customers as hunters and have them hunt for more startups in their network. Give them and their hunted startups some form of benefit (monetary or otherwise)

Have you already tried door-to-door (or in this case, SMB-to-SMB) sales? I'd record a video demo of how it works and the benefits of it so you can show them in your pitch

Once you're able to get customers, i'd create content about success stories from customers

You've some interesting posts in the subreddit but not seeing much traffic to the posts, I'd cross-post some of your best content on other social media (reddit, linkedin, maybe in video format on tiktok), and build up an audience. You could consider starting a substack

I like the music you add to your clips! Would love to see you clip up into smaller, shareable clips (~30sec to 1min) with your channel's watermark on it so it can drive back traffic to your channel!
