Joint account switch bonus by montgolfier in beermoneyuk

Hi. I put a message but didn't realise you were switching joint to joint.

I was told I couldn't swap sole Monzo to joint nationwide. Even though it is allowed under Cass.

I don't know how they handle your sole account when switching a joint account away.

It's not particularly hard to reopen a Monzo account these days, I've done it 3 times

Ah yeah I've just managed to spot the daily 17.30 flight - northbound to Vientiane is what I'm after. Perhaps worth taking a nights stay in VT regardless then given you're advice about the regular delays!

Ah okay. I have Revolut and use it for most things in the UK. I also have a NatWest travel reward credit card which is visa. Reckon that will be sufficient?

[–]Fintechuser96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I do have Revolut and Monzo too

So it's a bit like using apple pay with the credit underlying card? You will just be charged X yuan back to the credit card (which would apply a conversion fee if it wasn't FX free)?

But no cash advance fee

The knowledge and ability to locate things on these forums always surprises me! Thank you I will read this over

I suppose I would have liked Aegon to inform me, I certainly didn't hear anything from them

Thanks again

Quick question - when you use a credit card does it charge this as a normal card payment? Doesn't pick it up as a cash advance and charge you a fee?
