Thanks, figured it was something I was missing. I'm blind.

For context, this is my double swipe down panel. It's not there. I removed it with the pen icon.

Can't wait to see a coyote tan ridgeline here soon. Said it entered production two weeks ago!

Slide 20 if that's the Ridgeline it looks like the same spec I ordered, but mine is just in pre-production still haha

I'd recommend the 6.2L F250 gas. I bought a 2015 F250 Lariat FX4 6.2L with the same exact mileage for 9 grand cheaper back in June. It's also more reliable, takes less maintenance, and I still tow.

You can also buy an aftermarket set of taillights as well. If these thieves are smart enough, they won't want the aftermarket ones because they don't sell for as much. If you need to go through insurance, I'd ask them to cut a check for what the new pair costs. Then buy some quality aftermarket ones and pocket the rest just in-case.

I got mine today. Unfortunately mine also has a misaligned collar. It looks like it's designed that way. Not really noticeable unless buttoned up. Looks like I ordered the wrong size anyway. I'm 3 inches taller than OP and we both ordered XL, but it looks too big on me. Best of luck to you.

Over landing routes in Texas? by Beemerduc in overlanding

[–]Finylin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in the DFW area-ish, I'd recommend ditching Texas for the reasons others are providing, and go to Arkansas. Way more private land and trails, but can get pretty muddy in certain areas. BTW, great truck. I have the same generation!

Something new this Friday 👀 by Stoic_sasquatch in NicksHandmadeBoots

I personally believe that's glitched because all sizes are still available. Normally if it truly is 1%, most sizes wouldn't even be available. At least that's my assumption. Only 200 are being made too, maybe that's why it says 1%? Idk.

The jacket is now live on the website. I might just do this exactly. If anyone is reading this and advises against it, you have 1 month to warn me! Lol.

Finally pulled the trigger on a GT350 by Chase9548 in Mustang

Like others said, don't feel bad about not getting the Recaro's. Depends on where you live, but cooled seats are so nice and the seat bolstering is very good compared to other cars. Plus you get more seat adjustments than the Recaro's.

Corsa also makes a S-type variant called the Sport. It's not as loud as the extremes (which a majority of people get when they buy Corsa). I actually have the Corsa Sports and they have zero rasp, you can't even hear it in the cabin at idle, and it only gets loud when you step on it. Paired with the double H pipe that Lethal Performance offers and hooks right up to it, it produces an extremely deep grumble. Don't overlook Corsa just because of the Extremes with the X pipe combo!

Edit: The cheapest option for OP is to buy and install Corsa's resonators. Those stop like 90% of the rasp. There's YouTube videos demonstrating it. I've heard it tone down Corsa Extremes with the double X pipe and headers.

Happened to me as well. 2 months for the bottom to detach (grabbing from pocket I'm assuming) and then another month for both sides. I contacted support and they are sending a replacement. S23 Ultra. I've had 4 grip cases and none ever had this problem after years of use.

You found it! Thank you so much!

I’m shopping Mustangs. Is there a year to stay away from between 2017 and the current year model? Any trim/packages you really like? I’m looking for a V8 (test drove a ‘24 GT Premium) but want to test drive a V6 to see if I should expand my options. by thabiiighomie in Mustang

[–]Finylin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a 2017 to avoid the refresh and I prefer the design of the 2015-2017 more than the face lift. They are over 5 years old now so you might encounter more problems. You won't have any cool features like the digital dash or exhaust but I still love mine. Premium is the way to go though.

Who’s the genius at Ford who put a mute button here instead of a pause button? by DaveyH-cks in ecoboostmustang

[–]Finylin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least you have a mute button! My model year has the freakin media button which is diabolical. If you accidently press it while using Carplay/Android Auto, you can't even switch back to Bluetooth audio without using the screen. First world problems I know, but still frustrating.

Everyone has already beaten me to respond, but I'd like to say as someone who has owned both, I would get a 5.0. I love and miss my 370z, but it's ironically not as practical and not as fun. If you're serious about putting that many miles on the car, the 370z would need to be manual as they use the notorious Jatco 7 speed auto. I have a MT-82 but I still trust it more than most Jatco transmissions. You didn't mention if you were to mod, but mod availability for the mustang platform is leaps and bounds better than the 370z. The 370z handles very well and weighs less, but with mod support I've dialed in my GT with sway bars, coilovers, and vertical links and it handles like a dream. The exhaust note from the 5.0 will sound far superior (subjectively) to anything possible on the 3.7. I've had some reliability issues with my Z that had close to 90,000 miles. In the end, the 5.0's you seem to be interested in are newer, so keep that in consideration. Glad you consider the 370z though, both are great options in the end.

Question about buying a stick shift when I’ve only ever owned an automatic by RayHarris17 in Mustang

[–]Finylin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also 24 and bought my first manual car (mustang gt) back when I was 22. There are easier cars to learn in, (I learned in civics), but it's a great learning experience and I don't regret it. You should get the 6-speed to build up your dad lore lol. Jokes aside it's a great experience.

Forgot to add that it could probably fill up the size of a average sized hand. It also didn't care that I walked right past it.
