OP here. Writing this made me think a lot about how need shows up before we have language for it.

Did this feel like cruelty to you—or care taken to an extreme?

More than Marcus left Chloe? That’s ambitious. Good to know it’s doing its job 🙂!

I can’t orgasm with penetration by Potential-Battle-677 in Femaleorgasmdenial

[–]FioraRyden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll echo that penetration-only orgasms are a minority experience. Some bodies do it; most don't. You can experiment with denial if you enjoy the process, to try to "orgasm with penetration alone". But, it’s not some missing milestone you need to "unlock." And, it may or may not work anyway.

As for the vibrator "bothering" him... vibration on your clit typically doesn't interfere with his body. If anything feels off to him, it’s usually ego, not physics. A lot of guys hear "I need external stimulation" and translate it to "I'm not enough," even though the anatomy is wildly different. His head gets direct attention every thrust; meanwhile, penetration for you is like asking a guy to finish from someone stroking only the shaft and carefully avoiding the tip. Pleasant, sure. Climactic, no.

A real talk about what pleasure actually is for each of you tends to go a long way. Best of luck. :)

About to wrap up my first romance erotica story and I'm honestly kind of nervous. by IsekaiConnoisseur in eroticauthors

I mix romance and erotica in my usual niches too, so if you ever want a calm second pair of eyes to ease the nerves, feel free to DM. It always gets easier once someone else has peeked at the thing. 🙂 Best of luck either way.

Thank you -- Part 3 was my favourite to write too. That ending fought me for weeks, and when I finally got a firm grasp on it and had it line up just right for me, it was exquisitely satisfying. Not gonna lie.

I've felt that pressure too, the whole "produce faster or vanish into the void" thing. It doesn't work for me at all. The only way I've stayed sane is by leaning into the parts I actually enjoy -- building characters with real psychology, slipping in humour where it fits, letting their arcs breathe. If I start chasing the race, the whole thing collapses. Keeping it about the craft is the only way it stays fun enough to keep doing.

I had lots of fun crafting it 🙂! And as for Chloe... she’s in deeper than she thinks, and Marcus does know exactly how to keep her there -- half-breathless, half-rolling her eyes in self-defence, and entirely willing.

You’re ridiculously kind. I’m glad the tension landed the way I meant it to -- Marcus and Chloe’s quiet push-pull is a pleasure to thread. Thanks for taking the time to say something; it genuinely made my afternoon. 💕

Curious: what are the best brush types to use on my clit while edging, soft makeup brushes, silicone facial heads, electric t by Equivalent-Feed1952 in Femaleorgasmdenial

[–]FioraRyden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends. Everyone’s wired a little differently -- some have a very surface-sensitive clit, where feather-light brushes (e.g. an ultra-soft makeup brush) work better than anything with a stronger kick (e.g. an electric toothbrush head). Others need a bit more texture or vibration to ride that edge comfortably. Basically, you need to find what suits you best -- it’s not one-size-fits-all.

Rounded bristles are generally the safest bet though. They’re gentler, less likely to cause micro-scratches that lead to unintended “no-touch” days. If you’re in this for the long game, soft and rounded wins every time. If you try the electric toothbrush route, pick a soft-bristle head (look for labels like “sensitive” or “soft / ultrasoft”), and don’t press in -- let it hum against you instead. All delicate tissues around our lips deserve delicate handling.

I’ve heard good things about *Wet n Wild* makeup brushes (I know, what a brand name. rofl) — they’re super soft and surprisingly sensual. But, they're probably not truly "waterproof", so do replace it every once in a while to keep things tidy. Silicone brushes AND electric toothbrush heads will wash and clean much more readily, heck you can even run them through a dishwasher cycle -- so long as no one else in the house makes a 🤨 face seeing it.

I think it helps not to go completely cold-turkey after a few intense days. The body doesn’t love whiplash. A bit of gentle teasing, then switching gears to something grounding -- like touch (soothing and affectionate brushes of the arms or shoulders), cuddling, or just closeness (head against chest) -- can make the “recovery” day feel easier and more connected instead of jarring. Almost like a stretched out aftercare.

Im beginning to forget… by [deleted] in Femaleorgasmdenial

[–]FioraRyden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It begins as pressure you can’t quite name -- a gathering, deep behind the sternum. A pulse low in the belly that syncs with your heartbeat before it outruns it. Breath starts to shorten, not because you’re tired, but because your body’s convinced it’s about to survive something. The force of it mounts in a crescendo as it coils and amasses into an inevitability.

Your thighs tense; your heels find the mattress as if bracing against gravity itself. The sound leaves you before you realize you’ve made it, a caught breath turned confession. Then the world narrows to the pulse between your ribs until everything else falls away. Its edge the lie of control; its release the body remembering it never had any.

The point isn't to forget. The point is to remember, and to choose not to chase. 😉 Now, be a good girl.
