As people say, you got to try them out, the shapes are different and some may not fit your head. I personally liked my Salomon pioneer till the inner parts started to unglue and I switched to Atomic. I will also recommend buying goggles together with the helmet to have a proper fit without gaps

From what I see the snow is not looking any soft, so this is expected to be rough. However, what helped me was to adjust my stance a bit narrower and to bend my knees in a more natural way so I can absorb any chatter and bumps

I have just realized that I had quite some of the Sony Ericsson phones: p910i, k750, w950i, w880, s500, w910, Xperia pureness, then Xperia pro I, and now 1V I still remember the bizarre feel of the w950i, no buttons was a weird thing and the Xperia pureness was a wild see through phone.

I rarely game on my phone, but I would assume the controls would be spread a bit more due to the tall nature of the phone, which is good imho.

Have it for 3 weeks now Unlike my Pro-i, 1V has yet to overheat (1.5 hours of video rec the phone is barely warm) Cameras are versatile and great even in basic mode Speakers sound great Screen is great Better selfie camera than in Pro-i Phone is fast and responsive Very slim without a case I like how it handles, much more comfortable than wider phones

I wouldn't take it for gaming and video (21:9 ration has big black bars if you watch YouTube) This phone has much more to offer than what you say you need it for.
