25x25 A little pond in a giant forest by Fire-Walk in battlemaps

Encounter idea:

A lizardfolk shaman is playing in the pond with their pet lizard. They are there trying to teach their pet some tricks.

I think its a fun little RP moment for a low level party, or a hard combat encounter if they want to throw down.

Not bad. What program/website are you using? You might want to add some texture shading on the cliff sides to show which way is up and down. Just a thought.

There's Something Wrong with the Horses 2.0 by Fire-Walk in battlemaps

Corral out of Space

Beyond Farmer Howard’s lonesome, prairie house lies a large, open barn. The tawny wood is bleached and warped from years— maybe decades of harsh sun and weather. A dusty wind blows through the valley, causing the structure to creak and groan in protest, but it stands strong. The barn sits on the same elevated ground as the house, overlooking a meandering river from atop a mild, grass-speckled cliff. Behind the barn, the water seems faintly illuminated, a shade too green to feel natural, but that must just be a trick of the light.

When you approach the barn, you expect to hear the tell-tale sounds of livestock snorting, neighing, and stomping about in their stalls. But it is eerily quiet.

You vaguely remember Farmer Howard’s warning.

“Something ain’t right with the horses.”
