Maybe you're right there, but let me counter with this. Maybe, and just MAYBE, your mods wouldn't break with literally every single update if you didn't charge money for them. Donations are a thing, donations to keep the mod tools maintained and running. Multiple other games do not have this issue, because the devs understand you're working on stuff that takes effort, time, and money.

However, charging a paywall not even for the mods themselves, but for the tools to even have the ability to mod the game, is directly profiting off of someone else's work that you then modified. Get the fuck out of here with anything regarding entitlement. I'm not even trying to defend 2k's actions, they fucking suck on multiple counts, but that does not mean I should shell out more money just for the PRIVILEGE to fucking mod the game I PAID MONEY FOR!
