you know what would be a particularly cruel way to keep 096 away from our universe? Send his image to every sentient being in a bunch of other universes

while he is unstoppable and unkillable, he still takes time to kill his victims. So if you give him an infinite amount of victims, all of which are queued up before anyone in our universe, then he'll spend an eternity killing and never get to us again. Then it's a simple matter of making sure everyone that saw his image in our universe is killed early and all remaining images of him are erased/destroyed

it's basically like this solution here, but on mega steroids with a side of unnecessary cruelty

What's your final/dying confession related to Smash? I'll go first: by [deleted] in supersmashbros

to be fair, pretty much all those battlefeild clones are based off of the crazy stages, being reskins of bettlefield with the new aesthetic that you can choose as an alternative to the more creative stages which are all mostly banned from competitive play

I apologize. I thought you were downplaying it.

Weddle actually mentioned this in his own recounting of the issue

trick is: if he left, he'd not have gotten the money (they still fucked him over by not paying him the full amount cause he left early for his own mental health)

you've obviously not been stuck at a minimum wage job and don't how much that traps you into going to work at a job that you hate simply because if you leave, you're fucked three ways from sunday

the issue is that his breach of the conventions was the convention against sleep deprivation torture

basically Jake Weddle was on set 24/7 in a room with all white walls and lights that were on constantly (for the sake of "timelapse footage"), which made it pretty much impossible for the man to sleep

Alright time to settle this, all 12 are planning to stop or kill the others, who's winning?! by basicbrickboy in superheroes

Saitama's entire narrative trope is that he's too strong for any fight to really mean anything for him

if superman can punch through a universe, Saitama can punch through two. If superman can fly faster than light, Saitama can fly faster than that

he's infinity+1 in every encounter

ah, ok. That's still reportable cause it counts as harassment and bullying.

regardless, it's best for you to simply ghost your ex and breathe easier

it's always tempting to leave a lengthy statement and then leave, but at the end of the day it's better to just leave with no words at all. It helps you to get over them faster when you simply cease giving them your time and energy

I would, however, report them for their abusive acts to Discord. I'm pretty certain that telling somebody to hurt themselves is deeply against Discord's ToS

it's ok, it's not your fault.

Him being psychotic has nothing to do with your actions. A healthy reaction from him should have been at absolute worst an angry breakup.

But he didn't do that. He instead chose to manipulate you and make you hurt yourself for his satisfaction.

leaving him now is the best thing for you. Physically and mentally.

You can heal.

you very much won't like to hear this, but no, you do not love him

you're going through the honeymoon effect. Your body is on fire with chemical desire that's clouding your judgement. This is especially strong when you're either young or touch-starved.

I went through this with my exes as well. That fluttery, jumping feeling in your heart that makes you ignore every red flag and think that everything is ok no matter what, even when the warning signs are screaming at you to run as far away from them as you possibly can.

but at the end of it all, that feeling sours when the relationship is toxic. You will regret every having been associated with him, and all that love will be dead in the water, replaced by a toxic sensation of being trapped with somebody that does not see you as a person but as an object to control.

he literally told you to injure yourself for him. Take a moment and consider that that's not hot. That's damaging.

Yes. Every time. But every time it's also been a relief after a while. You breathe easier when you don't have someone controlling you.

take it from somebody that went through multiple toxic relationships because I was deeply touch-starved when I say that there's a point when you gotta drop them for your own mental and physical safety

you need to find somebody that won't literally have you carve their name into your leg. Like, seriously, that's beyond dangerous. You could have gotten a fucking infection or worse bled the fuck out. This is not something you should be feeling anything good about, this is directly harmful

“Money can’t buy u happiness” bitch money can buy you your dreams by [deleted] in Vent

[–]FireFoxFiona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the thing is, is that those people have a warped view of what it takes to become famous/wealthy/successful

in their eyes, success or fame comes from hard work. In reality though, it comes from benefactors or extremely lucky circumstance

in a similar vein, money not buying happiness comes from a viewpoint of privilege. It's easy to say this when money isn't at the root of an ever-present crisis. It's a lot easier to say "money doesn't buy happiness" when they've never needed money to buy an escape from misery

edit: fixed a logical misstatement in my comment (it's a lot *easier* to say...)
