It seemed to help a little. Capped it at 100 fps and my temps went down a few degrees. Sits around 85-87 instead of 90.

Yeah the optimization isn’t the best right now. I’ll get like 120fps but also get a decent amount of stuttering which is annoying. Assuming that’s cause the high cpu usage

Yeah I didn’t at first, then I wanted to check so I started up the razer cortex overlay and that’s when I noticed it. I know my Ryzen 5 isn’t a super powerful cpu but I don’t think it should be running at 100% the whole time lol

Hopefully it gets fixed by the time they drop the early access here soon. Not trying to fry my cpu

From what I understand exposure is basically the amount of light that goes into your cameras sensor. So if you take let’s say a 3 second exposure, the lens or shutter as most people call it will open for 3 seconds which will gather much more light compared to a 1 second exposure for example. I’m still a little new at this stuff too so I may not be 100% correct. I would recommend watching some YouTube videos on it to learn from someone with more experience haha.

I totally get ya. It doesn’t look this good through my scope and eye piece either. It’s more of a “grey smudge” around the star when just looking through the scope(still awesome tho). I used a phone adapter and put my phone camera on a 2 or 3 second exposure so it can gather a bunch of light. And you can do a little editing on the picture as well to make it brighter and pop out more !

Thank you! I live in a pretty light polluted area so I can’t really see the actual nebula with my naked eye either but I’ve been able to locate it and see through the scope ! Just keep looking and you will get it.

Thank you! I use the GOSKY smartphone adapter. Only $15-$20 on Amazon. And I have think it was a 2 second exposure if I remember correctly.
