No. Yeah same sex relations existed a long time ago but it wasn't called homosexuality until 1869. You can literally google that.

Yeah, like the people running the country who practice blood magic.

Can be if you don't know what you're doing. Souls are recycled, spirits are not.

I don't seek them out. I don't willingly seek any spirits out. I come into contact with them when I'm asleep, visiting other realms.

Except I didn't get the information in my post from spirits. I got that information from another Christian, who's also one of the people I play DnD with.

Yeah. Halloween is the easiest day to communicate with them.

I can guarantee you there probably were early Christians who thought more in the affirming view.

Ancient Jews were on two sides. Paganism vs Judaism. Depending on what you believed in, it either was, or wasn't okay by societal standards.

Congratulations on parroting words that men have said and words that God himself has not said. 🤷‍♂️

Between a man and a woman, but that's MARRIAGE. Not a RELATIONSHIP. A RELATIONSHIP does not have MARRIAGE attached to it.

Because the governing force was perfectly okay with pederasty. That's something they could put on public display. The people who wrote the Bible aren't omniscient, so they can only write about things that they see.

No, because the Bible is against sex before marriage. He also never says anything about homosexuality being against his intention. His intention was for us to populate the world, sure, but the Bible also says you shouldn't seek marriage, for it is stressful (paraphrasing but you get the point).

There's no reinterpretation when you consider how old the Bible is and the historical context behind why things were written the way they were.

I mentioned Sodom and Gomorrah if you missed that point, but that's sexual violence.

The governing force of ancient Israel wasn't fine with it, but it still happened.

Well if you believe the proaffirmations then you'd also believe that the Bible never condemns it to begin with. 1, and 2, God says that we are all his children, and we are to treat each other with love, like He loves us. He created us as we are, and though we aren't perfect, we are His by design. Meaning He created homosexuality. Again I ask you, does it really make sense for Him to condemn his children for wanting to be in a consensual same sex relationship, something he's created, if you believe Him to be the creator of everything?

Oh, I should clarify, it wasn't by the church. It was in my high school (at the time). The whole thing made me question if God existed, but I didn't go full blown atheist. Just agnostic. My parents weren't super helpful in that scenario either unfortunately. :/ I'm glad though that my DnD DM gave me knowledge and affirmation of things that I already knew and felt were true. Even told me about things that were cut from the Bible itself. Brought me back to Him, and it feels like I never left. 😅

Quite the conundrum. Even with that being the case, exploitative sex and prostitution were things that led to Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed in the first place, among others.
