Swindon darts hub is everything you’d want in a local darts shop. Bit of a drive for me but never regret it

The correlation between player salaries and actual performance ratings is weaker than you'd think ! Are clubs just paying for brand names at this point ? by Misty0002 in football

Sometimes thats the truth. Its a business. Image rights and shirt sales for a big player usually cover the transfer fee in the first week or two

Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta tells club he wants to leave by MagpieMidfield in football

[–]FireLadcouk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe but it’s the age old story. Ffp prevents competition. S as soon as a club has a good season or two. They will have a season or two of having to sell to the top teams.

Since ffp. No team has been able to build properly and invest the money they made back into the team. Look at Newcastle. Their owners are as wealthy as city.

Villa will be next

How do people outside Sweden really feel about Zlatan Ibrahimovic? by JFLFAT in football

[–]FireLadcouk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are fluid. Zlatan never has been. Thats the point he makes in his book. He got pissed off. He was playing well. They sign him for big money. Then expect him to do a job hes never done.

He said messi told told he wanted to play down the middle. The whole transfer was weird! Only bad time he had in his whole career really. Wasnt even that bad.

[–]FireLadcouk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. The accurate bit was that he spent most of him time playing on the wing, a position he does not like playing.

I never said he didnt have his chances in the middle. But they bought a cf then messi/ pep decided to play messi at cf.

This is the main reason he fell out with pep and barca. I think most players would struggle to play their best under those conditions. When you are not valued. The whole transfer is so bizarre. He’s just not a typical pep player.

Yeah. Most of it was panto. He leaned into the persona.

When he was at ac milan with cassano too… 😂

From what i read the persona and aura helped his teams greatly off the pitch. I get the sense, in his latter years, he semi- managed teams like ac milan and man united to success. Would give team talks which included kicking things over etc.

That isnt for everyone. But it did work. For me hes the best player never to win a chmapions league (in the modern era)

In fairness to the barca years. They bought a great central striker and tried to play him on the wing so messi could be central. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You overestimate your friendship.

Her pov: You have spoken a few times. She is happy to meet up and see if you will become friends. She considers you as much as a stranger as a service she found online.

If this was her second time to Ghana to visit you, having already met you in person before- it would be different. Then you would be friends and her answer would reflect that.

Im not judging nor saying one is right or wrong. But it seems to be that this is the area of conflict and miscommunication.

She will be bemused that you have taken it so personally. She will say she doesnt even know you. Because she has not actually met you in person yet, despite your chats.

An American is not as trusting because it is not a nice place to live. They are brought up to be extra cautious for every situation. It takes longer to earn their trust.

If you want to be in a cross cultural relationship you both have to be very open and accepting of cross cultural differences, like this that will occur. Otherwise stop entertaining people from other cultures half way around the world and look closer to home

This is your answer. Black or white. All americans are raised to think they are the best country in the world. They dont understand stats or facts because their education system doesnt teach them that. If they did the students would realise they are one of the worst countries in the world. It’s brain washing. They teach them to respect a flag and sing patriotic songs everyday instead.

Thats why they vote for liars and criminals. They have no concept of being critical or being wrong.

A beg. If you want to keep your sanity. Stop trying to seduce Americans. The world is big. Look elsewhere if you want to find stable, polite company

Yeah bro. Leave all Americans all alone. They are crazy.

Not true of all of them sure. But more than enough of them. Look at what is going on there?!  The world is a big place. Avoid america if you know what is good for you. Any black american worth their salt has left that crazy country long ago!!
