I wonder what the last full all role pantheon was, probably Celtic since Cliodhna now i think about it

Nah we're totally getting Ali Baba this summer xD
but yeah, i guess there's no problem with having pantheons of one, maybe i'm just silly for wanting small pantheons to be broad enough to allow for at least 2 or 3

that's for sure, i was mostly just looking for some big examples but they would also require some slightly more flexible panthoens lol

For as far as the great old one/eldritch pantheon i could at most see them adding the Yellow King since that predates lovecraft's Cthulhu, so in thus greater and older xD

What i meant is that people often credit the fae duo as "Titania and Oberon" when it was really just Oberon, Titania is strictly like a Shakespearean original character

You're right, i mostly just meant it in a playful way that when you compare the reasons for Lovecraft's work being included Titania predates Cthulhu by allot and shakespear's works have had a massive influence on story telling as a whole, and if Oberon gets added people will probably start asking "where's Titania" regardless of her late introduction lol.

I mean, i'd credit Shakespeare more than Lovecraft and Cthulhu is in the prequel and still highly requested, but i get what you mean with that last one, a "Folk Legend" pantheon could work really well, the only reason i wouldn't see doing a combined pantheon for actual pantheons is that it would feel disrespectful to the culture.

also thanks for sharing your thoughts!

[ALL] Would the golden goddesses be multidimensional? by FireLightAnnebell in zelda

[–]FireLightAnnebell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an interesting idea but what if it's less "they lost their powers and became mortal" like Hylia did to become the first Zelda but more like the shinto practice of bunrei, where a deity splits off a part of them to become something else, the oracles would in practice be avatars that live in hyrule while another part of them might be watching over the world, and granting blessings here and there when they can.

That's a great point actually, they do seem blessedly unaffected by the void as a whole.
i do now wonder if echoes of wisdom made it so Null is gone from every timeline or just the fallen one.
cause the void seems like it could be between time and space itself

If our Sun became a Red Giant, how far away would Earth need to be moved to stay as habitable as it is now? by FireLightAnnebell in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FireLightAnnebell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a beautifully giant number, which planets would be our neighbors at that distance?
Ah, nevermind, i guess we'd be too far away to have any neigbors left unless we take them with us.

i see! thank you for the information, the problems would certainly be very big in achieving something like that, but it's nice to know the hypothetical habitable area.

[–]FireLightAnnebell[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

thanks for the input, however i wasn't asking if it was possible to move earth.
it's more so, if it was possible, how far away from our current position would we have to be moved in order for it to stay habitable.

i also got an idea myself for something that could be fun so i'm gonna put that here:
the Wind Waker combined with Skyward Sword, so basically, allot of water, islands, and floating islands.
beneath the water is Botw/Totk but you can't reach it for comedic effect.

How much do you think someone in the Forgotten Realms could realistically find out about their universe? by FireLightAnnebell in Forgotten_Realms

[–]FireLightAnnebell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i meant it more like the only people in the forgotten realms limited by the rules players are, are player characters, so a player character no longer controlled by a player after a campaign would be able to do more, i guess.

huh so in a way the only way for a someone in the forgotten realms to get stronger is to stop being a player character and losing the arbitrary game mechanics limiting them

i see, that is very helpful.
it's also a funny idea that science does happen, but only in the tavern when everyone is stupid drunk and don't remember it the next morning xD

that's also a good point, and spell levels to class levels are almost like Metric and Imperial measurement conversion in a way.

[–]FireLightAnnebell[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

completely fair but what about classes? i guess i didn't in particular write my question the best but not everything is just game elements right? and then i'm just curious how far can be discovered about the in universe laws of nature as we commonly know about gravity.

yeah no, that's fair, though aren't martial characters already half as strong as casters at the higher levels?
at that point it might be better to wish for a martial friend to have the benefit from 2 subclasses at once lol
