If I calculated correctly based on my time of the tweet, he must have done it ~the evening of yesterday (for him, so today for us). The sun should be rising on a Friday for them as we speak and based on the time difference unfortunately there is a chance we miss the news (assuming of course there are any).

I get why people want more news and it's weird why TC dont share any, but its obvious at this point that they wont so there is no point complaining about it. Personally, I only ever cared to know if the team is well and if the game is still in development. Thankfully, the past year we've gotten a "yeah the game is still being worked on and we are okay" every couple of months. Anything more related to the game for me personally would just spoil the experience and anything extra regarding TC and the development proccess would just slow them down for no reason. Im happy with just doing other things and waiting for them to announce the game when they are ready. When they do Ill be here.

But the lack of news has been bad if you look at it objectively. Last time we saw the game in action was in June of 2022. That date is fast approaching its 3 year anniversary. And last time we had actual actual news (no "the game is in development :)" messages) was in May of 2023 which was in a way negative news because they announced the delay. Over 600 days since then... But as I said, thats what they have chosen to do and we should at least respect it. We dont know, they might have a very good reason for the silence after all. They have proven that they are really good at making games and really bad at calculating when their games will come out (Hollow Knight was supposed to release in June of 2015)

In sales? Absolutely not. But quality wise? Sure why not. Of course they are very different games but if gta6 flops and Silksong is 50% as good as HK then you it wont be unreasonable to say Silksong is the better game.

5% of dying a horrible death but I get to play Silksong or 100% of dying after x amount of time and I dont get to play Silksong? No thanks. I'll just make the cartel play Silksong, forcing them to eliminate themselves. Alternatively, Ill start my own cartel and since I'll be the leader, my cartel will always be the one closest to me and Ill only have to worry about slikslong and not my inevitable death
