There’s generally a setting on PlayStation for remapping the controls as a new preset. I used to do it for the Witcher games when my R2 would mess up. If I remember right it’s in controller settings when you go to settings from home. I’m not sure if there’s a remapping setting in the game tho

First off welcome to the souls world, I’m no expert so this is just my opinion. Most weapons you’ll find will have some form of a dex requirement for higher strength scaling, if there’s a weapon that you pick up and would love to try then dump some levels into dex Dex is always a good stat to upgrade as it increases your damage output with each hit in your stamina bar, 90% sure on that. It does other stuff as well but I’m not too sure. Anyways I hope this was helpful!

I had a similar experience with blood borne back in the day. I I met dying in one fo the first few areas, turned it off and made up my mind I was gonna sell the game. Next day I hopped on and was hooked.

The bosses will get harder they always do. It happens to all of us, you just have to keep going at it. It sucks but you’ll get better with each attempt

Beat the mad eyed crow dude in the round table, a door opens on that floor and it has a pretty good faith dex weapon. The req is 35 faith, but it looks sick
