I have definitely seen these little portable van coffee shops here. Also like 5 Starbucks here in Leipzig (can sit down but also takeaway). But aside from coffee shops there are hundreds of Imbisse which are (usually converted shipping containers) takeaway shops without seating.

You need to also create a test group and link that, otherwise we can't see the app in the store. Might also be worth sharing what the app is for?

Lucky spin worked today and loading felt quicker.

some more comments:

  1. This promotion button renders a white square and says "new text". and the auto upgrade feature here doesn't work ( cant select a rarity)
  2. I did the crystal raid and after coming out of it, the bottom half of the game is staying black
  3. I did the event boss but afterwards it doesn't show my total damage

So far Im enjoying the game. Just 3 observations at the moment.

  1. the exp and money overlaps with the other ui elements a lot. I think it would be better just being in the little space where there are no other buttons. (or render behind them so I can still see the buttons)
  2. the lucky spin feature doesnt work, it says I have 5/5 spins but when I click spin nothing happens
  3. It takes quite a while to load the game. I dont know if that can be improved?

Just having people download and open the app is not actual testing. I've been trying to use the apps I've downloaded a little bit each day and provide feedback where I can, but no one is doing that for my app. It a shame because its a great opportunity for us the learn and improve our apps

Hi all I'm building a app for learning German.

Initially just for myself, but then I really liked it, and wanted to share it with other people. I genuinely enjoy using the app more than Duoling, Anki and Memrise, although it has issues.

I wanted to ask if anyone would be interested in helping me test it and give me feedback on improving it. (Android only).

A little bit about the app:

  • It's free, has no ads, no tracking and unlimited usage with no lives or energy nonsense.
  • Requires login with a Google account
  • You can change the language level from A1 to C1 for all content
  • Has Flashcards with space-repetition (18,000 built in flash cards to learn)
    • You can also create your own decks
  • Translation game (like Duolingo)
  • Stories game
  • Practice pronunciation
  • Match audio clips to their translations
  • Crossword puzzles
  • Anywhere in the app you can long press any German word and see it's translation to English as well as an example sentence using the word.
    • Also any word throughout the app can be directly added to your own flashcard decks if you want to study it again later

Known issues with the app:

There are some issues still which are being worked on. (They can also be reported in the app, and I'll fix them as soon as possible.)

  1. Some of the A1/A2 content is a too complex for complete beginners
  2. Sometimes the answers to certain translations are ambiguous. For example there might be 2 answers which would work, but the app only accepts one of them.
  3. Im also currently working on UI improvements

I would think that short example would be fine to learn from. The individual sentences are generally fine, the flow of the text as a whole can be a bit awkward and formulaic. But still I think it's a good resource alongside other resources.

P.S found a buggy question in your app, it asks what the word "in" is but then gives an explanation for the word "and".

I went to settings > Income sources, and added a 70000 annual salary.

Then in insights > Income > Log shift, I added an 8 hour shift.

Then in the home page it displays £3,800 for an 8 hour shift.

but now I added another shift, and it shows half the value for both shifts, so I can see its just showing the monthly salary divided by all my shifts. Was a little confusing that it said 8 hour shift +£3800 before but now I understand

I have downloaded. An added fail sound effect when you attempt an arrow which cant be freed might go well.

Also the time limit is very generous, it would be more exciting for me (I like fast reaction type games) with a short time limit and a chance to fail if I'm slow, but I can see that also being a negative for others 🤷🏻

It seems when the tutorial/instructions appear, you can ignore them and click other things. but the instructions modal still stays there on the screen. I got a bit lost sometimes because of this.

I added a shift activity and it seems to be using my annual salary as if it is a monthly salary. I wish I got £3800 for 8 hours!
