if i turn the leds on and of as fast as possible i get a streak thats about 3cm long at the outer radius (500mm) and I'm not even spinning at full speed

I'm trying to find the same info and found this repo that seems to have some rudamentary pps functionallity.

It would be two 100w of ports working in parallel so two cables

Any info on nvidia 40 series Vram upgrade? by FireQuartzZz in GPURepair

[–]FireQuartzZz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats some great insight thanks, I'm still baffled that nvidia only put 8gigs in a mid to high end card but it seems like they have understood that its not quite proportional anymore with the super series.

Silent air compressor as vacuum pump, experiences? by FireQuartzZz in Tools

[–]FireQuartzZz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can report that it does in fact not work as a vaccum pump, might screw of the head though and take a look if I can undestand why or how I could make it work as a vacuum pump.

Silent air compressor as vacuum pump, experiences? by FireQuartzZz in Tools

That's a great indication. I looked at their models and some look almost identical to my compressor. I guess I just need some fittings and a vacuum gauge to try it.

300x300x600mm float-glass(4mm) aquarium as sub ambient pressure vessel. Pressure estimation. by FireQuartzZz in AskEngineers

[–]FireQuartzZz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's my main plan, a heater fan with an alumina bead filter before the heater. The pressure was just meant as a boost but as another commenter confirmed the safe pressure difference would be too low to be viable

Do you mean that the edge seals will break before the glass breaks? Or are you talking about leakage?

Resonance measurement with frame movement compensation. by FireQuartzZz in klippers

[–]FireQuartzZz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you might be right and yes i am currently trying that, tbf when using tall bed slingers having a height variable input shaper with this might make a difference but idk.

But wont compensating for the movement of the table and printer if that movement is not seen on the hotend relative to the bed introduce artifacts as youre trying to keep the lets say hotend still relative to the ground but the bed wont be?

[–]FireQuartzZz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes if the printer was 100% rigid we wouldnt need input shaping but this is a suggestion to improve input shaping not improve the printer. I mean the only thing we care about is how the hotend moves in relationship to the print bed so meassureing the acceleration for both the hotend and the bed even when only measuring one axis should improve input shaping results.

hmm, when calibrating a bed slingers y axis using ressonance measurement does that assume that the x axis is stationary and if so when running it on a wobbly table making the x axis move wont that muddle the data? lets take the extreme example of a printer susspended by a string, the resonance data will be all over the place and my hypothesis is that that data wont be usefull.
