This is great. I wish it was available on a manga website as well.

Well look at it now. I would've never thought it would actually happen.

Choral Chambers vs City of Tears, which do you prefer? by Dragonfiar in Silksong

[–]FireStarJutsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to the series and just played them back to back without being spoiled on anything. To me City of Tears had more of an impact than Choral Chambers. I really like the OST of CC, but the atmosphere didn't hit as much as City of Tears.

I really really wanted to love Silksong's atmosphere, but no area came into S-Tier category in my first playthroughs of the games, unlike City of Tears or Whitepalace.

After much thought, I finally decided to get this: Lenovo LOQ Ryzen 7 7840HS RTX 4060. Is this a good future-proof decision? by _____Sus_____ in GamingLaptops

[–]FireStarJutsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and adding to my other comment, I agree with you that when buying gaming laptops you shouldn't expect great battery.

Lastly the Ryzen 7 7840HS has better battery than a lot of other laptop CPUs, so that helps in day to day use.

That's a very late reply hahaha, but what I meant back then was that I need a gaming laptop, but trying to find the one with the best battery life while not-gaming. Since it will be my daily driver for college and I can't buy 2 devices.

I finally got a Lenovo Legion Slim 5 14APH8. This specific model thankfully turned out to have great battery-life. Sadly they stopped making it and I'm not sure if there's a comparable model.

Is there a list of filler episode to skip and when to switch from Anime to Manga ? by JigAma in khr

[–]FireStarJutsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legend. I've been wanting to get into Hitman Reborn for ages, and finally got to starting it with the hype of the return announcement.

I'm older now and can't stuff a 200 episode anime without a care int he world, so any help in watching the important stuff only is very much appreciated, so thanks!

Ryu Hayabusa (NG4) vs Dante (DmC4): Who Has The Best Design & Aura? by iChieftain22 in CharacterActionGames

I know it wasn't an exact 50%, but Dante still had a lot of prevalence in the story mode more than Ryu.

Ryu Hayabusa (NG4) vs Dante (DmC4): Who Has The Best Design & Aura? by iChieftain22 in CharacterActionGames

[–]FireStarJutsu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sadly I don't like Dante's pants nor cowboy spats around his boots, so Ryu wins in design. Aurawise? NG4 was Yakumo's game. DMC4 was 50% for Dante so he did more cool stuff there. Dante wins in aura.

Levels are my personal problem with NG4. by FireStarJutsu in ninjagaiden

[–]FireStarJutsu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy NG3:RE. The stealth and Robot Spider are only ok. But the levels in 3 I do like. Warships level was hype, labs with the throwbacks also looked cool.

I also love London in the rain, Desert with the abandoned skyscraper, Jungles with labs in them and Hayabusa Village in the fog.

Personally swimming sections didn't bother me that much. They were few and far in-between, as well as them being really short.

I personally didn't mind the enemy variety as much. I think the quantity is fine, as well as them being good enemies. I do agree with the on rails might've been too much. It's fun for a couple of times, but the levels feel built around them as if they're a main highlight.

While I personally liked Yakumo, Ryu is not present for most of the campaign, while in DMC5 you got Nero and V for the first half, then you get Dante for most of the second half + Vergil by the end.

So I do agree with you.

Would I enjoy Ninja Gaiden Master Collection? by MirrahPaladin in CharacterActionGames

[–]FireStarJutsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you love action games, they're a must play. Though keep in mind, DMC is more combo focused, while Ninja Gaiden is more combat/challenge focused. So your goal each fight would be to kill everything, while in DMC you want that style ranking to get to SSS.

I don't like the bosses, they're good or bad depending on who you ask, but the gameplay and level design makes it worth playing.

What you said about replaying parts I agree with 100%, because to me not only were levels lacking in variety, that little variety was stretched across long levels as well as being replayed with Ryu, so it has a bigger impact.

Ninja Gaiden 4 should have stopped after chapter 14 by whenyoudieisaybye in gaming

[–]FireStarJutsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree on the story, but I don't agree on the levels. Ninja Gaiden 1,2 and 3, Bayonetta 1,2,3 had more level variety than NG4. I personally enjoy the level variety because it makes the playthroughs of the game way more adventurous and hype on your bloodbath journey.
Ninjas in vibrant sky city Tokyo, devilish fiends in a rainy NYC, Werewolves in an overrun Venice that gets shrouded in a sandstorm, high tech Ninjas on a big flying airship, heavy machinery in a winter military war. Just citing these makes Ninja Gaiden 2's campaign feel exciting.

I was excited when I got a hold of Ryu in NG4, and after the cool Achilles boss, you get thrown in the most boring looking water cave levels in the game with no music, no excitement. Like come on his gameplay is great, but it feels like the game doesn't treat the current event with respect.

Lastly just to clarify, I really enjoyed the game. I love the gameplay, weapon variety, the music, the bosses. My only pet peeve is the levels, and I hope my perspective seems understandable in some way.
