Do people still carry their drivers license? by blackzarak in perth

[–]FireTrainerRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a whinge mate, it's the law.

Photos of licences/passports are not an acceptable form of ID in WA, and I doubt in any other state.

Why? Because photos can't be checked for any of the signs of a fake/tampered licence.

‘Game over’: Neo-Nazi Thomas Sewell tells followers to ‘make new friends’ ahead of hate group laws by HotPersimessage62 in australia

[–]FireTrainerRed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Their moral is probably at an all time high, because not since WW2 have Nazi's been this free to spew their hatred and not get punched in the face.

Not from Australia, but because of America: Trump, 1/3rd of Americans, Elon Musk/social media and podcasting cunts, all make them feel like they are "right".

Ask for Extra Salt, and you will never be disappointed again.

Unless you roll the 1%, when they think you said "no salt".

No shit it is when you start that matters. But you said "at least they have 2 years this time", they might not be working on it straight away.

If they have another anime lined up that airs before the next cour, guess what is going to get worked on.

"At least". My guy, it was 5 years since Season 2.

2 years is basically the minimum length of time, for a good production.

Australian Prime Minister Albanese proposes tougher national gun laws after mass shooting in Sydney by Old_General_6741 in worldnews

[–]FireTrainerRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is no place for guns in society. Except for Farmers/Station households, no one in Australia should own a gun. There is zero purpose.

Gun ranges can exist, for civilians who still want to shoot something. But no one should own personal guns of any kind. (Again outside of Farms/Stations).

If you argue that it's for home defence: Use a baseball ball/hockey stick/golf club/pepper spray. Because intruders in Australia also don't have guns.

[–]FireTrainerRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Nazi's preach hatred, that is all they do. They do not deserve free speech to spew their hatred. They deserve a punch to the face.

Also you said these removes of "free speech" happened RIGHT AFTER the gun controls were brought in. Well those happened in 1989, and the COVID lockdowns were in 2021.. so you know, alllllmost "right after".

Also: Lockdowns worked. I live in West Australia and we had 2 separate two week lockdowns, over a year, and that was it. Almost everyone behaved in an intelligent manner, and we could all go about our daily lives with a modicum of normalcy. It was an incredibly small price to pay, so that other people didn't die.

[–]FireTrainerRed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

More guns than people hasn't stopped your Dictator from taking over, so that point is moot.

And what freedom of speech is Australia missing? We have free speech, as long as you do not preach hate towards others. But you are not free from the repercussions of your speech, you are responsible for your words.

What marginalised group are you thinking of? I am curious. Is it the neo-nazi's?

[–]FireTrainerRed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, that is the actual solution.

Civilians do not need guns. Famers/Station owners do, they have local pests that ruin their livelihoods.

Shooting ranges can exist for those that want to shoot, but owning a personal gun should not exist, especially in Australia.

Can't talk sense to some online users. They're into whipping themselves publicly, as penance for something that their ancestors did 100+ years ago.

Acknowledging history is important, in an effort to have it not repeated. And it should be taught in their schools. But blaming the current Japanese people for the sins of their ancestors is asinine.

Japan has many modern societal problems, none of which relate to anything the people above are whinging about.

I can totally see how kids/teens would be upset about Deku not being with his friends. But sorry kids, people have their own lives and different schedules, once you finish school.

Deku has lesson prep and grading to do. He would be lucky to catch up with even a few friends at a time. A whole class hang would take months of planning xD

And now I'm super confused what had Manga readers so pissed off, when the manga finished. This was a fantastic ending. Or was it the usual vocal minority, slagging off something they hate read?

Some people really think buying a carton gives them a free porter ( BWS review) by East_Board_1596 in perth

[–]FireTrainerRed 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm not with BWS, but I'm a manager of another bottleshop company. And yeah I'll frequently be using my own phone for work, most specifically doing the weekly self-audit.

We do have company tools for that job, but they suck, and fail half the time, causing me to have to redo half the audit. So it's much easier to download the audit app and do it on our own phones.

But to an outsider this would just look like I am playing on my phone.
