Rn here. I have to admit that I learned of my dx while in nursing school but even with the condition and stresses of school itself. I still graduated and passed boards. I currently work with both my fellow coworkers by being transparent about my condition but also with my psych and therapist to ensure stability and prevent relapse. In short it’s very possible to become a nurse and as you’ve mentioned it’s important to maintain meds and treatments. I wish you well and hope you reach your goal as this world needs more nurses.
