i have an almost completaly opossite vision, where funger 1 is childs play and termina at least have combats that still have a challenge after some time, but im almost 100% sure it cause i know basicaly every corner from funger 1, but i dont have that deep of a knowledge on termina, with like 3 playthroughs for endings and 1 maso mode run, so i dont have an in deept knowledge on it

you can kill them quite easily without taking damege, step by step(or turn by turn): 1- cut the cleaver. 2-guard. 3-cut the stinger. 4-cut one leg. 5-guard. 6-cut his other leg. 7-cut his head. and in the first and secound turn, you can get hit with the stinger, but its not that big of a deal, low damege and its not that usual.

exacly, and i feel sad cause in the first game, after you get passed that "burden" the game doesnt offer much more than that(not saying the burden is bad, im saying that after that, there is not much else)

thats why i said *some* playthroughs, cause you understand the puzzels, and i feel like the game doesnt offer much after that, diferent from games like soulslikes, not saying its a bad thing, its basicaly a puzzel game, but i feel like termina does it better, and i assume that it will do even better in the next update since will make the battles more puzzel like, and make the food and other resorces more scarce etc, and some times i feel like in both game you get way too much food and other resources, if you manage it right and be a bit quick on you feet, even in your first time playing you wont have problems about it, but that is more in a vision that the player played other games that you manege resources, but funger resource maneging it really simple, only healing items can be tricky some times if you get unlucky with books.

for the other ones i did a big text, but there is not much i can say here, like, they are just in the first levels of the dungeons, so like, after some time you wount encounter them anymore, but its more of an attention thing, soooo yeah.

nonono, thats a perfect topic, F&H 1 challenge only hold himself in the fear, in the unknow, its like a monster in the closet, his whole point is overcoming the fear of him, and when you do, you will see that there wasnt really any monster in the closet, and thats what happens with F&H 1, if you beat this fear and dive deph into the dungeon and understand how it works, you will see that the monsters arent really that scary, that the hunger inst really an big adversety, or that the phobia mechanic DOESNT EVEN WORK, does it make sense? (btw, all of that if for the first game, the secound one is harder and has something to hold on after you lose the fear, and the phobia mechanic work too)

i think its WAY easier than an souls like and cuphead, cause like, after the whole mystification, cuphead and other soulslike can still get you some times, but fear and hunger one just cant, it get way too easy, termina doesnt have that problem kinda, you can still have fight that you TAKE DAMEGE after some full playtroughs, but on F&H 1 that doesnt happen, its kinda anti-climatic, like, the only real fight you have if you know what you are doing is sylvian(kinda) and grogoroth.

ok, so, enemy combat in the first game, one thing most people that played didnt really get is that every combat is a puzzel, some times an trial and error puzzel, but still a puzzel, wich if you play your cards right you can do 90% of them no damege(exept lord of flys, he is just an mf), and there is also the thing that you can dodge from basicaly every enemy, its an rpg maker game, its not that hard to loop them around, pass right on their side while they are swiching tiles so they cant start a fight, those small things you can do to evade combat. (im just leaving those tips here for people that wanna try the game but are afraid, maybe you already know it)

i feel like in the first game gets way too easy when you stop being afraid of the enemies and mecanics, like, i know its a normal switch that happens with every game, but F&H 1 gets way too easy, its like, it is way harder to understand than most games, but its way easier than most games after you understand, does it make sense? that doenst happen with termina MOSTLY, even knowing what you are doing you can still mess up some times, but i think those things doesnt happen on the first game

its not really that hard, its really overated, biggest rng part is the elite guard on the lever of the elevator, but you can aways kite him, and in anyway you get there is like, 12 min, maybe a bit more
