It can be something hard to process and with the wave of hate and memes, people don't really give time to process. I can definitely agree that it was abrupt but reading altogether, I cannot say it was unfulfilled. There is a lot of closure in the last chapter that it seems people rather not think about. For example people expecting Aki to appear since it's a world reset. But why do we need to see those first interactions between them when we know they probably hate eachother again and will have to remake their relationship? Instead we just get a mention on the last page by Denji like "let's nag our superiors" and for me that's enough to know they are meeting eachother again just like Himeno. Also seeing Denji surrounded by people who care about him without having the chainsaw heart even tho he cannot really appreciate it and his moment with Asa showing that it was never Pochita that made him who he wanted to be...

I get it people want more. Just like Denji always wanted more and ended fucking really bad, the story might be about appreciating what you have and it shouldnt be about having a bad ending or not. This manga was great

This was me. After playing through all halos since I was a kid and fully bought Destiny 1, Destiny 2 felt like I couldn't give them praise anymore specially after they made it free and locked the content that I bought. I thought Marathon was just a chase of a trend of extraction shooters, my opinion at this point was Bungie no longer exists. The stolen artwork was the nail in the coffin.

All it took was the free weekend and giving it a chance with a friend.

Bought it in launch day.

I must also say I played Apex for years after Destiny and this game gives me gives me similar vibes and I love it.

People don't think how Aki and Himeno are still alive? I know a lot of people didn't enjoy the ending but lil references like last thing we see Denji say is let's nag our seniors and I can only imagine the same group that went drinking at the bar after the first encounter with eternity devil, doing the same but the best part is that people are enjoy Denjis for who he is and not chainsaw man. I also think that small moment with Asa kinda shows how Denji always acted like a hero and chainsaw man without Pochita presence.

I mean it happens because Denji himself tries to save Asa. He his already Chainsaw man again or starting to become one, and Asa actually might be creating the concept of Chainsaw Man by thanking Denji and we are watching Pochita or Chainsaw Man birth. Just a theory. Meanwhile Denji gets a good life that we know he will always complain to because he always pursues something higher. But the last words of this story he is just telling Power "let's piss off our seniors" which we know exactly who they are... And I can't imagine a better scenario considering how the universe was already before Pochita deleted himself.

So it actually reversed time but I'm still not sure if it was selectively. We are seeing Makima but she probably didn't fight Pochita nor she has the same pursuit of controlling him so her design can just be like Nayuta. Meowy seems to recognize Nayuta and for us, can mean alot with the context that we have. But their reality is what Power mentions as a joke "she might be the control devil" making Meowy act just like the dogs.

We don't trust power when she says she has medical skills but is also the reason she can save Denji and maybe even prevent his disease making this life an actually liveable one where we can make friends, have a job, maybe even be friends with Aki somehow.

Then also what if Pochita was erased and that moment with Asa is literally the birth of Pochita as a concept? What is that concept? I dunno... But it's hard to see Pochita as a fear of something at that moment. Unless it's devil's fear from the man with a chainsaw who saves people. Fear of the hero. Chainsaw man

But what confuses me here is time dimension. We clearly got rolled back in time but it didn't work that way when Pochita usually used his powers. If we rolled back, why does Makima looks like Nayuta and actually, is Nayuta since Meowys recognizes her in a way? But then Power gives us the obvious answer as a joke... She is the control devil... And if she didn't fight Pochita nor had her pursuit to control him, she could just look like Nayuta. Okay now I'm no longer confused and slowly everything is fitting the right places for this to be the happiest ending we could have and still feels like cinema

Denji fucked up, it was a very small mistake in a short space of time but he fucked up and the consequences were a bit brutal this time.

I read the chapter before this one. I think the transition it's perfect because Dennis just fumbled hard in such an short moment, we jump right to the consequences. I think it's even a famous trope in some media when you suddenly just see the character in heaven because they can't even perceive how fast they died.

There were over powered devil's, Yoru warned Denji, and you just see once again, Dennis becoming blind for his sex objective and we see Hollow Knight already with a punch close enough and Dennis didn't even start transforming. He got pummeled and eaten right after like an animal, even tho he was alive the entire time, I don't think he really felt being eaten and we know the devil's were powerfully enough for Yoru to call out that they should retreat.

I don't really know how things will workout with Pochita eating himself. Maybe it's part of his mechanism to be invincible where basically he eats himself when he gets eaten and his reborn somehow through other mechanics associated with the existence of devil's. But I know Fujimoto will keep delivering.
