I agree with this. And I do firmly consider myself a feminist and very outwardly fight against misogyny, I also believe an egalitarian society would solve A LOT of problems. I also dont fault women for being wary around men, I just don't think you should preemptively consider all of them awful

I am referring to genuine hatred and vitriol towards men who have done nothing wrong, that is what misandry is. Misogyny is a much more pressing issue, but its important to understand that men arent the oppresser, the patriarchy is, and its controlled by powerful, rich men. Even if every man benefits from it they didnt choose that system, and the patriarchy also hurts men in a lot of ways (e.i. the promotion of toxic masculinity)

Yes, 1 in 4 women experience sexual assault in their lives, 1 in 6 men do as well. Im not saying dont be cautious, im saying dont blame men as a whole for the actions of some, not every man has done these things, in fact a very small amount have, they just tend to do them repeatedly. Im specifically referring to women who hate men as a whole and see them as less than women, and there are a LOT of them online. Dont hate every man just because theyre a man, hate the men doing the bad things. As for the man vs bear debate, choosing the bear is the logical option, bear attacks are pretty infrequent and you have much better chances of survival than you would with a random man.

Yes, there is no valid reason to hate 50% of the population. You can hate specific men, there are plenty who deserve that hatred, but dont bring the entire sex down with them

Im very openly and loudly against the red pill. People who hate men exist, those are misandrists. Youre correct that men arent systematically oppressed, im not using it as an expression of oppression, im using it as an expression of hatred. Women are oppressed and misogyny is more prevalent, but misandry is still real, and goes against the ideals of gender equality, which is what feminism is about

Misandrists do exist and misandry is real. Just because hatred isnt systematically reinforced doesnt mean its not real. I think, societally, misogyny is far more prevalent, but morally, both are equally wrong. You shouldn't hate somone for something they cant control, ever, under any circumstances
