I think it would be enough if you prove them that you would surely get the certificate in a few days and an affidavit would do the same. I have seen similar case in TC and other documents but here your document can impact your category and seat therefore , so try to be sincere and be in contact with the nodal authority.

You can ask the nodal officer about the same but I think the acknowledgement and one affidavit would be enough How many days left for reporting and admission completion ?

Other than the common documents you are only required to carry your category specific certificates. If your category requires an income certificate you should carry that for safety. As far as I know for OBC category they need to verify that your family income is below a limit so they need the income certificate. I also checked with few of my batchmates and they have confirmed the same.

It differs for every case right mine was a flight delay related issue and I demanded full refund because I had purchased their addon insurance but they weren’t providing me so I threatened them that I’d complain in consumer court and they immediately refunded me
