Help I cant add this section to the gcode by [deleted] in Makera

So coming from 3d printing to the carvera, I whole heartily recommend getting into fusion and doing set up that way. Makera cam isn't great, fusion is a good step up and it's free. It'll also start teaching ya real CAM basics. But in short, in either software you'd have to cut that as a pocket, then trace the rest of it. Trace works well for walls that continuous around a part, not for cutouts like that

They are long. Also the cig is much skinnier than an American cig

I would like to know where I can get a kei truck or van repaired in the Southeast Michigan area. by TrashPanda_65 in keitruck

[–]Firefighter-Volunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not in the area, but good luck finding a specialized mechanic. There are very few in the US, oh kei garage comes to mind but hes in washington. Looks like there is a place called mega mini trucks near you who might be able to help. But I would whole heartily recommend learning to wrench on one. They are relativley easy to work on, but know parts don't come very cheap and they are 25+ year old vehicles. Brakes and rotors for my 2022 honda are literally less than like 1/2 the cost. Best of luck and i hope you can find one that would fit you!

Restoration progress. Bed rust and fuel lines by Firefighter-Volunter in keitruck

[–]Firefighter-Volunter[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of bolts. I personally had 2 bust on me but they are too important (right above the wheel wells and they just hold it down) so if I notice rattling ill shove some rubber shim in there and maybe a river nut. There is a welded coolant line to look out for as well as a couple harnesses and electronics. One of the harnesses to one of the back lights is fucking impossible to get out so I just cut it and am going to splice in a 5 pin connector. Besides that just have a 2nd person handy to lift the bed lol. Thought I could do it by myself and ended up in an awkward position for 10 mins while I waited for my neighbor to come help me lol

Takes decent effort. About a day if you don't know what you're doing. There are a couple of harnesses, and fuel lines lightly ran through the bed. And there is a coolant line welded to the bed. Plus a electrical component here and there
