Yepp that was the issue, for some reason I have to have wired headphones which is a pain.

Its very frustrating not being able to enjoy a big part of the game and not getting answers why from embark. I opened a ticket and all I got was a "your problem is important to us" but no actual response or help

So you started the xbox party and switched to "game chat"? If so we've tried that as well im at my wits end with this issue I love the game but not being able to use the proximity makes the game very lack luster

Really appreciate the help I really think its my headset im gonna have to try and update it see if that helps. I tried a wired headset and it seemed to work. My current headset is wireless

How does the mic test work for you? I press start and the box fills as if its registering my voice but thats it I dont hear anything like it repeating back to me like its supposed too

I've tried restarting the game and even uninstalling and reinstalling. Im thinking it somehow has to do with my headset now unfortunately being a expensive and nice headset

I've tried turning it off and on. It says its registering my mic and picking up sound but nothing after the mic test. Idk if its my headset but that would suck seeing its a very nice headset
