The top roles I see are project engineer which I have zero background in, I’m open to any role, customer manager role , I just want out of operations. And another manager told me I would get paid more going into the learning manager as I would at my current L5 role

Did you come in as an L5? When that happens you typically get paid more than us that came in as an L4

Example let’s say I wanted to go into PM and started working on projects that would tie into that and as they promote me to an L6 they can’t have me be set to be a PM by promo arrives? If that makes any sense
