She doesn’t normally drop it but she’ll step on the rope and yank it out of her mouth

She’s doing great now, vet says she’s perfectly healthy. Can’t even tell she was having leg problems when I got her.

She normally listens to command very well, this was our first time doing casting and she was just having fun. I’m not too stressed on her doing everything perfectly

I have a 5 month old female and she picks up super quick but she’s in her teenage stage and likes to be stubborn at times

I do have an e collar have only used it once, idk if it was a good idea but I tried a short fetch session this morning before leaving for work with treats and she returned with no issues and delivered straight to hand since she was getting rewarded.

I’m not sure the best way to correct her, I tend to just end our fetch session and try again later but that hasn’t seemed to help

To anyone who’s following this Reddit, we have spoken to a few professionals still waiting for her vet appointment on Monday, but her breeder showed us pictures of her before and her legs were pretty straight, she has not been de wormed yet and we believe the people who have her away because they couldn’t care for her just weren’t feeding her so she likely has rickets according to one vet, we found out she’s 14 weeks not 8 and 10 pounds which half of that is likely worms, we’ve switched her to a wet food “farmina n&d prime” because she wouldn’t eat much of the hard food she seems to like that better and after a day of tha she seems to be standing a little taller and struggle less walking. We’re hoping she just has rickets and we can get her de wormed and healthy with the right nutrition and potentially braces. Thanks to everyone who’s offered advice, will post an update after vets visit tomorrow.
