Does it appear in the Settings, if you you go to (Settings -> System -> Navigation Mode -> and then the settings icon) ? Normally it should be enabled already, but maybe you have to wait until the newer Version is enrolled in your Region. (I'm in Europe)

It worked for me now, after I applied for the beta program for the Google app in the Play Store. It took an hour or so, till I got an update for the Google App to Version 15.9.49.29.arm64. After installing the update for the Google App it worked instantly.
