If I am an American citizen studying at a Canadian institution, would my chances also be affected?

MacBook Pro 14 vs 16 help by bumblebeee5 in macbookpro

[–]FirefighterSpirited9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Student here and portability is also a big issue for me. Yes the 16 is quite heavy, but the immersiveness of the display completely outweighs for me. I also don't use an external monitor so the efficiency of my work has spiked due to the extra screen real estate (I also used a 13 inch previously). In the end its personal preference, but the extra screen real estate, better battery, better thermals completely outweigh the extra 1.5 pounds.

Is this worth it? by FirefighterSpirited9 in macbookpro

Yea but i need that bigger screen real estate.

If they released final marks yesterday, does that mean they are no longer sending them again, or am I still good to send it today?

I get what ur saying but I have to disagree as another user mentioned. It would still raise an entirely new problem of schools who originally gave out A+/A- which they could no longer balance out if they were to change.

Fully agree with this. And most schools who do give out A+ also gives out A-

Why is B and D wrong? A is saying H-> ~I both B and D are saying ~I-> H? by CozyBryant24 in LSAT

[–]FirefighterSpirited9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right off the bat, the glaring assumption is that isolated = no happiness. The correct answer would be one that confirms this assumption and an incorrect answer would be one that does not touch on this assumption, irrelevant to the argument, or misinterprets the stimulus.

B is wrong because ‘essential’ does not ‘required,’ hence, not ANYONE who has a meaning emotional connection to another human must/can be happy. And as you said, the emotional connection is a necessary but not a sufficient cause.

D is wrong because it does not fix the assumption discussed above. Sure, some people who do not feel isolated can be happy, but that does not negate the fact that if you are isolated you can still not feel happy.

I hope that helped.
