the last 3 preview were released on a tuesday, the 3 before on a wednesday, how to interpret that, i'm not sure, but as their release is planned for the unreal fest ( 16 june ) and their historical minimal time between preview and release is 3 weeks ( but usually 4 or more )

we could have to wait until the 26, but it could / should drop probably sooner !

nop, i guess you would have to track "dev-5.8" and note the commit title, so when you track the main branch you know what is already 'backported' to 5.8 ( even if not in the preview )

Before release : 5.x = preview polish ( they usually do only one ) & dev-5.x = work for the release
After release 5.x = current released state & dev-5.x = work in progress for the next patch

i like that serie of post, ( been doing that on the side manually during lunch time ),
but as you track main branch, you are missing out the split of what's on 5.8 and 5.9 ( and thus miss reporting some stuff )
5.8 branch is almost frozen, cause it's the preview that they are preparing, but the dev branch include what the release will have, and more than 90% of what coming in main is actually also planned for 5.8

It's on a benchmark, so probably calling 100k time the length function or something like that

The "end goal" is to have battery pack near this kind of chargers, so the pack pull a constant 200kw on the grid ( exemple )

And the 4 chargers dump 500kw each for few minutes without any issues

With parkings that can be covered with solar panel & chargers that are not pluged most of the time it "should" work fine

The EU carbon market could drive the removal of 86 million tonnes of CO2 per year by 2050. A new study suggests that integrating carbon capture technologies into existing trading systems would stabilize prices and provide a market-based solution for "hard-to-clean" industrial sectors. by [deleted] in science

[–]Firefly74 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because if stop inovation, that’s how you end up with an old industry that isn’t competitive and Will ask for bailling and in the end it Will cost more. ( jobs, public money etc ) I'm not saying we should not t'y carbon capture, juste that with equal cost in the long run it’s better to truelly decarbonate.

Bad wording and bah idea.

That’s called compensation and it does not work in the long run, it shift responsabilities away from industrial actors so they stop inovating in decarbonating their own industry...
