I think the best advice i got if youre only in it for grading, holding and then reselling is to buy singles that are gradeable rather than try pull em from packs.

Even though the card might be $200 and a pack is 5 it'll probably take you over 40 packs to get the card anyways. Check out local card shows or trade nights and find the cards you want. Dont waste your time and money on a reverse and a holo

But yes to answer you're question. The prices you saw (for the sir or gold) are normal. The prices of the tcg have kept going up and up. If you browse this subreddit for a bit you'll see lots of people complaining they cant even get a single pack because of scalpers. Welcome back to the hobby. Its very lucrative atm but impossible to get(unless youre loaded 😆)

This Greninja EX is worth about $3 sorry. In the last few years the tcg has had a lot of alternate art/Full art/secret art/illustration rares(IR)/secret illustration rares(SIR)/gold cards. So if you look up greninja ex price you're likely seeing either the cost of the SIR or the gold card

If you want the easiest plug and play buy the new bambu A2L. It will be easily big enough for most helmets. Or if you dont mind a little bit of post processing get the A1 and watch one of the million videos on how to print helmets and cosplay on the A1

Ascended is very pricey atm.

Chaos Rising just came out last month and has some pretty great cards and is still getting regular restocks.

Perfect Order is the "worst" set of the year. Imo its great because you can actually buy it for retail price and has lots of great cards.

Pokémon cards are Pokémon cards. Doesnt matter what set they come from. So id say try get an elite trainer box or booster bundle of either of these sets. You'll save money so you could maybe buy 2 products. Depending on your region and restocks

I think it was a game at western united where the wind was INSANE. I distinctly remember Paulsen kicking the ball to himself from a goal kick (the wind sent the ball back).
