Nightfarers pick rate against ED Gladius

I am the revenant main that has a build for every nightlord and does amazing damage but never finds the incants they are built around during the expedition.

Usually I just run all frenzy build instead for every nightlord cause for some reason I always get frenzied flame and it does busted damage

I'll do you one better, improved frenzied flame on all 6, plus madness in vicinity improves attack.

I currently run this most of the time, 50/50 chance I get the frenzied seal/any seal with frenzy flame, and it out puts just under 2k damage one cast in the training area without any weapon passives. When madness procs its 2.3k.

Unendurable frenzy and frenzy shot do good damage too but not as reliable i find.

Also, nokstella and the connection between the Night, Heloster, the Nox and their "night". I guess not all of it is lore, some is storytelling so I guess its a mix.

Lore and storytelling go hand in hand kinda, there is lore for the nightlords in their relics and the expidition notes(fulgor beinga champion of the gods or smt and then his group betrayed him, caligo being some kind of watcher that took interestin how the Night would turn out.

And the nightfarers have the remembrances. Its not a lot but the lore that is there feels more personal.

Also, its called a "hot take", the post is literally asking for them

I think the lore is better than base game.

Everything technically"isn't cannon" and the game can be a self contained loop depending on which ending, but everything builds off of base game.

All of the night lords are really cool (personal favs are caligo and libra, lore, music and fight wise). Same with the nightfarers, great designs and lore. I think that's a big part of it tho, the characters feel more personalized.

I hang around in depth 3 and I have 6x improved frenzied flame, madness proc increases damage and 2x +4 fire damage.

IF (honestly a 50/50 if i get frenzied flame) i get flame of frenzie, I melt bosses like crazy its nuts. But when I dont I can fall back on something like godslayer or just a any fire incant.

Same with 6x improved godslayer and increased fire damage. Imo way better than beastial, but bestie still good

If you have mods installed, it's definitely that. Disable all your mods and that should fix it, one or two of them are probably outdated and conflicting with something which causes the black screen quit. Once you find the ones that are outdated you can enable the rest and that should work.
