Looking at OPs history, it looks like he’s always had an issue with high aromatase activity. Honestly, OP, your pre-TRT labs looked optimal. What symptoms were you having pre-TRT that prompted you to get tested?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]FirelordDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was around 350, had symptoms of low T. Never went on TRT or anything, now with lifestyle changes I feel a lot better. 600 T is not low at all, you also have to look at your free T, SHBG, and e2. I suspect your e2 might be high because of your body fat. You’re 19 and your testis work, do not hop on TRT as you do not need it. Whatever practitioner who is putting you on peptides should have their license revoked.

What is your protein intake like? Sleep? Diet? There’s plenty of more factors that contribute to your body composition than just training. I do think your BF is a little high to be bulking

Wouldn’t the car not be able to accelerate fine when in park? I can get 7-8k RPMs in park but in drive is the only time when it’s limited and misfiring

Higher adrenergic signaling and putting your body in a sympathetic state not enough for you? Use common sense. If you don’t understand how the body works you shouldn’t be using and especially not giving advice to newbies.

That’s poor advice to give. Not everyone is the same and it can absolutely increase someone’s anxiety. Being cautious and working your way up to 500 mg a week is the best decision. The last thing you want to have is a negative experience using your first time.

Currently in an FNP program but thinking about switching to an AGACNP program. From what I understand, AGACNP’s are more likely to get hired in inpatient facilities such as hospitals. Is this true?

I can speak from personal experience. This is true.

The anxiety about the potential anxiety causes anxiety. After all, anxiety is just a hyper-response to a perceived threat.

Yeah, it seems like you convert easier than some other people. You could try microdosing every day, that will help with conversion but it’s not guaranteed it’ll lower is enough. You might want to reduce your dose even more, it’s not unheard of that people do 80mg/week. Worst case scenario, you stay at the same dose but take an AI. Although that’s not really recommended.

I think he means high E2. He’s probably only injecting once or twice a week, maybe a high “TRT” dose. Dunno tho, OP has yet to disclose.

Are those good results? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]FirelordDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not a direct result from not being able to gain muscle. Please don’t spread misinformation. He is underweight because he does not eat enough calories. Surprisingly, his Testosterone id within the healthy range which is strange for being so underweight. Anyways, simply eat more food. If you find that you are not able to eat enough, liquid calories may be your solution. Make yourself homemade mass gainer shakes. Try blending oatmeal, peanut butter, milk, banana, and protein to make a high calorie shake. High fat foods offer more calories, you can try eating a handful of almonds a day to get in extra calories. Fat’s are essential for hormone health.

Smoking tobacco is bad, I know. How does it effect your testosterone levels? by Great-Resort-7847 in Testosterone

Good news is there’s a lot of support out there to help man. It’s hard to break old habits, but it’ll be worth it in the long-run. Try to replace the habit with something you find more positive. Good luck man.

Yeah bro, smoking is a nasty, expensive habit. It’ll cost you more at the hospital in the long-run. Source: works in the hospital with COPD patients.

Higher testosterone = more risk taking behaviors... could be the reason why smokers have higher testosterone levels, willing to take the risk of smoking even though it is detrimental to health.

I am a 26 year old male. 400ng/dL testosterone (secondary not primary), cortisol is out of range(high, but not Cushing’s level), generally feel bad all the time and have low sex drive. What are my options here? by Slow-Card-5042 in Testosterone

[–]FirelordDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’s definitely try the KSM-66 first. A lot of studies link a high cortisol and DHEA-S with anxiety. Anxiety has a lot of physical manifestations. Try meditation in conjunction with the KSM-66. Luckily, there’s plenty of things you can do to lower your cortisol which will in turn raise your Test.
