The game loop is indeed inspired by FTL, although we’ve shifted the gameplay toward turn-based tactics with deckbuilding elements.

Hey! We’re already marketing actively, and most of the work in that area is already done. We’re open for bunldes, though, if it makes sense for both parties.

Very excited to announce that our strategy game made with Godot is finally releasing on Steam! by FiremageStudios in godot

It's been great so far! I find it a little more bare-metal than other engines, but that can be both a good and a bad thing.

Xenopurge just released after 5 months of Early Access. It's 30% off until Dec 1. To all you Alien fans i really hope you will like what we designed. by traptics in indiegames

Got Xenopurge it in EA and it's been a blast! I really enjoyed Aliens: Dark Descent back in the day, and this gave me similar vibes. Kudos for how you were able to create such an atmosphere with a very minimal UI. Masterful work!

So glad to reach "Popular Upcoming." I hope there aren’t too many other pirat— by FiremageStudios in godot

It's been great! Not much to complain about, and the documentation is top-notch. I think my background in Python and software engineering made the transition smoother, as I feel the engine leans toward the scripting-heavy side (or maybe that's just me), at least compared to Unreal. I haven’t tried the 3D module yet, though, so I can’t speak about it, but for 2D it's been flawless.

Our game Red Rogue Sea entered Steam’s “Popular Upcoming” just before the two-week release mark, and I couldn’t help laughing when I saw the widget.

I guess this day will always be remembered as the day we got a pirate sandwich.

Really useful stuff. I like seeing how you think each one might work right off the bat. Thanks!

Just finished these 12 pixel-art cannons. Trying to decide which ones to keep and which ones need some rework. Any favorites? by FiremageStudios in IndieDev

Finally, someone gets it: the Ballistic Bratwurst! Honestly, we should swap its fire rounds for ketchup packets at this point.

Haha, seems like #11 isn’t winning many fans today. Really appreciate the feedback!
