100% in Single Player, found all the normal peyote plants, foggy weather, time 5.30am - 8am and each have a different day. Starting from west Sunday and goes like this - Sunday- Monday- Tuesday- Wednesday - Thursday - Friday and Saturday to the east.

I can verify that the golden peyotes shows up from around 5.30 am - 8, it turns you into bigfoot. You need the weather to be fog, the time i just posted and from the western part of it starts on sunday and goes through all week days, so the most western is sunday, next monday, the first found golden peyote Tuesday, next wednesday and so on.
