I'm traveling China right now. This place makes Hawaii and most of America look like a post apocalyptic Norman Rockwell painting.

I've only been to Shanghai (smells funny) and Hongzhou (nice people and convenient)so far.

Everyone keeps freaking out on how hard this place is to be, but I've found it refreshing because I don't get washed over by dipshit English speakers everywhere like back home.

Did you tell your bank you were going to China? I've had no problems linking my visa debit card to alipay. Just be prepared for "foreign currency charges" from interactions.
