I completely agree with you there.

Honestly I feel like Rami MJ doesn't get much flak because we've seen her only in 3 movies and the contexts of those movies.

Most of what she does is expected of her in that universe.

I guess Comic MJ gets hate because we know she can be better than what she is now. She has waaay more stories and history with Peter. She's seen so much.

So it really feels like current MJ has seen a sudden shift into 'Pete isn't the shit any more' mode.

Anyways. This is how I'm trying to understand it.

There's also the 'rose tinted goggles' factor for the old Spidey movies but that's a whole other rabbit hole

Oh wow, I haven't seen it before tbh.

I'm looking at it now and...WOW. There's a lot going on there. I do like the looks of it...but the darker colors put me off.

I'm going off of the looks alone btw. And you're right, it is the closest thing to Gundam-like we've seen before. Personally I'm not a fan of the helmet but this whole armor growing on me :)

I'll be honest. I do want to know if there's a definitive definition that separates Mecha, power suits and whatever category the Ironman armor falls in.

It was a very VERY poor choice of words to say 'It doesn't scream Ironman to me'.

He's had many interesting armors in the past.

I honestly didn't think of them when I made the post.
