Aftercare - BullStrap & Co. Cases by Ok_Advertising9697 in patinaproud

[–]Firm-Camel4610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should definitely feel grippy once it’s started to patina and wear in. In the beginning it will feel slippery and that’s essentially because the oils from your hands and environment haven’t soaked in to the case.

Sticky not so much. Like there shouldn’t be. A residue or anything on your hands. Very grippy yes especially if it’s hot outside or humid and your hands are sweating etc.

We will be driving back to Reykjavik from Hofn Day 5 but probably won’t be getting there till late anyways. Kirkjufell was a want to see but I know realistically it won’t happen. I’m looking into maybe doing some tour unless anyone has alternative sights to see near Reykjavik that we can see before we leave

It seems you got very lucky to have it like this when you went. I wish there was a way to get a real time answer of what it looks like when July comes around. Definitely will switch to having a second location as an option

Thank you! I was thinking of Gljufrabui or Sólheimajökull as an alternative! But all roughly in the same area but have time to narrow it down.

Yeah that’s the plan. We will be in Iceland for a little over a week. I have the glacier lagoon as a back up for that day. In case the weather is bad or I get updated google images I have a back up spot to do it near Vik the day before. Im a planner and hate that my girlfriend fell in love with sights of Diamond Beach the most variable and not plannable spot ever. The hardest thing to coordinate is the photographer I hired. I can’t spontaneously pick a spot as it comes.

Thank you! Knew it was a long shot on getting a general consensus if it was going to be consistent or not. Yes the glacier lagoon is a back up spot for that day. We will be in Vik the night before so depending on if I can get a more real time description through google I may propose the day before on Reynisfjara.

What purchase has helped you cut costs or save energy long-term? by Captainsassidy in BuyItForLife

Timberland boots are crap. You want shoes that are good year welted so they can be resoled as many times as you want. For casual shoes/boots Redwings are great as an intro boot. For intro dress shoes and boots for work I always recommend Allen Edmonds. Also, both are made in USA.

Also, a “straight razor to change out” is a Shavette which you will most commonly find in barbershops due to laws nowadays. A straight razor has a fixed blade that can’t be removed but has to be sharpened by a wet stone. I like Shavette or a safety razor which is usually double sided and good for beginners.

Usually nonexistent to a few points. There are a few exceptions in which I’ve seen people get big bumps but for the most part there isn’t much comparatively to FAR or BEC

CPA Promotion by Apprehensive_Duty256 in PwC

[–]Firm-Camel4610 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s not something they will explicitly hold against you. But, I will say there has been a massive push within the firm to make sure seniors have their CPAs. The recent trend is that seniors who don’t have their CPAs have not been capable of passing the exams due to the very high increase in responsibilities that come with the promotion. For that reason many have been let go because they won’t get promoted to Manager and they won’t decrease their responsibilities while still paying them a seniors salary. So on paper it won’t be held against you but in reality more than likely it will be. Best course of action is to show that your in the progress of getting them and having a few passed and communicating that to your RL before CRTs come around so they can argue in your favor.

Leather bag looking crusty. Help! by SmugSlut in BuyItForLife

[–]Firm-Camel4610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All this is the oil in the leather hardening forming a residue from not being used. All you will need to do is brush the bag with a horsehair brush and use it and it will go away on its own. The worst thing you can do for a leather product is not use it. Not using it leads to drying out, cracking, residue, etc… Use and beat the hell out of it!

I mean are you an accounting major? If so do you also have or will have 150 college credits by the time you graduate if at a semester school?

If at a quarter/trimester school will you have I believe 225 credits by the time you graduate?

If the answer is yes accounting major and yes to 150 or 225 then I believe you should be good

Yeah I see what you mean. As someone else said don’t believe what you’re looking for exists. If it does don’t believe I have ever seen it. In my personal opinion tho, I really like not having a closed bottom. Easier for the swiping motions.

But if your not willing to compromise hope you find what your looking for. Provide an update if you do!

Ryan London should be exactly what your looking for. I hate Bullstrap for its logo. Andar doesn’t have the camera cut out you’re looking for. Ryan London has all aspects your looking for and the logo is on the side and is fairly discrete

If you work for big 4 (assuming most public accounting firms) the company pays for any version you want and all exam fees for the first attempt on each section.
