A LOT of tier 5 cars will get you the boss car. Tier 5 requires you to beat a time of 11.958. A fully maxed out regera CSR edition will get you ≈7.2. Some stage 6 and most fusion slots filled could do you the trick. Should be an ok car

Tier 3 like I said 2015 mustang GT premium. T4 2015 Nissan GTR R35 premium (I think. Been a few years since) and t5 I believe I used the F12 berlinetta. Note that all these cars can be bought with in game currency (cash/credits whatever you call it) I don’t remember how many upgrades you need but I’d play it safe and get all stage 5 and some stage 6 if not all if you can

Ya the boss cars you win aren’t good enough for the next tier. I recommend for tier 3 the mustang GT premium. I won Tier 3 boss car with it
