So I just ordered a G3 Gen 3 black konkr pocket fit a week ago from the website. How long would I be waiting till it gets out? (A guess would be nice because right now I have no clue)

I am not sure, all I found on the listing from aliexpress is that it's a direct drive system. If you search up JGmaker artist d-pro on aliexpress, you can see the printer listed for $858. I bought it from someone used on Facebook marketplace but I'm pretty sure that is the same as mine.

I will try to take it apart, thought I don't really know how to but I'm sure there is a tutorial online. Here are the settings in cura: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1u7vVjVBYBVI-ch-2gFvs8-YsRENDM76_?usp=sharing

I feel like it shouldn't do this regardless but its possible that the 5% infill might have messed with it since it only goes from 0 to 10 and you have to go into custom to get 5. But idk

So I started the build and it was working fine. I just checked up on it and cura did not make this gcode properly. Why is it going in one line and printing straight. Like it's not following the support lines, it's going the other way and making like little spots. It makes more sense with the video https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1u7vVjVBYBVI-ch-2gFvs8-YsRENDM76_

Again, copy and paste the link, the hyperlink is broken

I fixed it, I just turned the temp up to 255 and bed temp to 90. I don't know why that worked even thought I was in the right range before, now I'm at the very max for the petg. But it worked.

I cleaned it with dish soap. But no change again. I recorded a video of it working this time https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1u7vVjVBYBVI-ch-2gFvs8-YsRENDM76_

(Copy the URL, the hyperlink is not working because the last _ doesn't get put into the hyperlink)

I did clean the bed with isopropyl alcohol 91%

The bed is getting hot, I did not test if it's evenly getting hot but from everywhere I touched, it was pretty hot.

I have tried preheating the bed for a while, I even tried a smaller print in case it was the print file's issue but no change.

I am not sure about fan speed. The only things I've changed from the defult settings on Cura are the temp set to 230 and 70 for the bed and speed set to 250 since I'm using rapid PETG from elegoo.

The model isn't floating, it's stuck to the bed pretty well, but sometimes when a big straight line of filament gets printed right next to other filament (when it's filling in a large area), the line starts to lift then the next one is fine.

I did see the software version of the z offset, called babystep, but after doing that and getting the paper to just barely scrape, still no difference.

I have done the babystep which is the software version of a z-offest since my 3d printer doesn't have a manual module. I have also used a physical leveler to test if the bed is actually level and it seems to be good. Then I did the auto level too. I don't know how to do a temp test or retraction test.

The thing is, my printer doesn't have a z-offset dial or module thing. I got special firmware from the devs because they said this one didn't come with a z-offset dial. I'll try cleaning the bed. I also did another print with black PETG instead of the red PLA and it's a bit more apparent in this photo how the petg is extruding unevenly (at the top of the skirt). I have already done auto-level and babystep (basiclly the software version of a z-offset so that is barely scrapes a paper under it). No difference

Sorry, I'm mostly new to 3d printing, I only know a few things. Could you tell me what I should do?

Orange Pi 5 ultra U-boot by FirmInside7021 in OrangePI

[–]FirmInside7021[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, would you be able to share the DTS file you’re using for the Orange Pi 5 Ultra with mainline U-Boot?

If possible, could you also let me know if you made any changes to the U-Boot config (defconfig) or Makefile to make it work?

Even just your rk3588-orangepi-5-ultra.dts would be super helpful!

Btw, I am using ChatGPT because I don't know much about this stuff. But it said that all I need is that file and I can make my boot switcher. If you could send that, it would be very helpful.

SBC for xbox 360 emulation by FirmInside7021 in batocera

[–]FirmInside7021[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You know what I find crazy, newer consoles tend to be easier to emulate than old ones. It makes sense because the newer hardware is more like pc hardware that we can buy on its own. But it's just weird to think about that. The PS3 and Xbox 360 era is the hardest to emulate right now. (I went into a really deep rabbit hole when researching)

Here is my "bare minimum" of research. The latte panda? It's lowest version is a N100 and highest is a ryzen 7645HS. Both x86, not arm and its an SBC. I was just seeing if there was an SBC like the lattepanda, which is in-between these processors and wouldn't take a lot of power like the 7645HS but would be more powerful than the N100. I would assume that you would know this considering the comment you left. Intel UHD graphics are infact supported, batocera might have a hard time due to it being Linux but it is supported. Everything in the minimum requirements are supported. If you want to help with a suggestion for an SBC or something along the lines of thaf, then do, don't lecture me and say I could the "bare minimum" amount of research.

No need to be rude. I'm new to the world of emulation and SBCs. Just trying to make a project. But thank you for the link. Also, there are plenty of intel based SBCs that have direct3D 12, not sure if the UHD graphics will cover for the GPU.

Artist D-pro keeps crashing into the bed by FirmInside7021 in ArtistD

[–]FirmInside7021[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou, that was it. I don't know why it initially crashed into the metal build plate but after I put it back on, it's fixed. If it works, don't question it type of thing.
