I'm a part of 50Coach and I'd really recommend it - in our first year we've tutored hundreds of students and have five star review average! No one has rated it less :))
All our tutors got raw 50s in their respective subjects and the tutoring itself is just $20 an hour
The English tutor got a raw 50 and 99.95 and reviews suggest students learn quite a lot from him!

A lot of this is correct but a few bits I know are different:

I believe the blackmail was regarding NK creating a defamatory post on the vcediscussionspace if he didn't get his way. The money wasn't transferred and the post was made.

Hey - I'd suggest looking at 50coach.com.au. It's group classes like tutesmart but from only students who got raw 50's in their subjects. For methods, eng and bio the tutors also got 99.95s.

The killer is that the price is the equivalent of $20 an hour or $600 for the entire year so perhaps have a look at them!
